@Me Vs DiffuseThinning Thanks alot man.
"We performed three treatments of microneedling at an interval of 4 weeks, over a total period of 6 months"
Im confused now. That sounds like they perfromed 3 microneedling sessions every 4 weeks (every 10 days ca?) ?

Study does not mention whether participants were also using minoxidil or finasteride!!!? Grrr
They do mention that every participant was on finasteride or min (or both) for at least a year before the experiment.

Hi
I'm about to embark on a regimen that will include microneedling (will probably order a Derminator 2).

Because the search term "emu" is too short, I can't determine if anyone has used emu oil -- which has a great track record for aiding in wound healing and minimizing scarring used topically (as well as boosting collagen production a bit) -- to aid in healing post-needling session.

If you haven't heard of it, yes it's oil rendered from the fat of emu birds. Fair bit of research out there about it. I tend to get big ugly white scars so when I had a 1,000 graft hair transplant done about ten years ago, I used it on the donor area scar to very good effect. It's also a powerful anti-inflammatory.

Thanks. BTW I intend to fully document my journey, I have a very unique opportunity over the next year to experiment in ways my normal life wouldn't allow, so I intend to go all out. Few things to put in place first. I'm not new to this sh*t -- I go all the way back to the Waseda days, circa 2001, anyone remember that? the Japanese guy with all the herbal remedies? there was this lunatic troll named Ernie who would promote his theory that plucking body hair would cure baldness? Don't recall what forum that was on, maybe this one?

Ah the good old days /s

Ugh, I’m not sure if I’m being paranoid or if needling made my hairline become noticeably thinner. I’ve needled once a week for about 2 months, and I’m on the big 3.

I wish I took some before photos to compare with, because I’m worried I’ve thinned our more on the front.

So I just used my Dr Pen Ultima N W-2 that I got off ebay for $32 shipped for the first time and I liked it a lot. Way easier to do it when I'm not the one applying the pressure. 2mm hurts like a b**ch but, if it thickens up this hairline... worth it.
Hi yt, how's your hair been holding up?

Use coconut oil before Nizoral.

Good advice, also maybe apply a little after nizoral too.

Or try a really good natural parabin & Sulfate-free conditioner after nizoral, I like to use Avalon organics biotin conditioner.

This morning, I heated up some coconut oil, coconut milk and curry leave powder and used it before shampoo. Hair feels a lot nicer.

Every working hairloss protocol will make your hair shed. Thats normal.
If you have alot of vellus hair in the front, they will shed

i know i have bad eng, but i will try to express your opinion
I think DermaRoliing will be good only for relatively young people, because body's natural regenerative powers will decrease as you get older. So after forty years the DermaRolling therapy effect will be minimal, or even invisible for those who suffer from Androgenetic Alopecia

I have loads of seemingly long vellus hairs at my high, receded hairline.

They're all around 1cm+ long, and the length of vellus hair abruptly shortens again below this layer of long vellus at the point where the teenage hairline would have been.

If they all turned back to terminal ones, I feel that my hairline would be restored with almost full thickness.

If the area is covered in long, thin, colourless vellus hairs, how likely is it they can be restored? I have been on some form of HRT for 15 months.

I cant answer that. I just wanted to say that its normal to shed hair if you micro needle and i wouldnt stress it too much.
What is HRT?

I go all the way back to the Waseda days, circa 2001, anyone remember that?

Yes, I remember him ;)
This is my annotations about it
Aerosol de Amachashiso:
1) Shiso. Extracto de hoja de perilla
2) Amacha.
