Thanks. I forgot the alcohol. I knew I would have to use some sort of disinfectant, but I wasn't sure if alcohol was the best or if I should use something else. I think someone suggested something else and said alcohol may not be good for hair? So, is alcohol okay?

Go all in if you can afford it. Nizoral shampoo, a strong biotin supplement, some good oils (coconut, castor, lavendel, rosemary, peppermint).

Derminator arrived, faster than expected (I’m in the EU and was shipped from Czech Rep). Nothing surprising but I like how “medical” it looks, and I also like the no bs look (no gimmicks, no nice color touchscreen, just as basic as it can get, sturdy). The light switch looks like a lamp switch so a bit funny look but anyway. I’ll start this Friday for the first time, will try 1.0mm in fast mode and go to 1.5mm if needed. I’ll stick to weekly schedule. Wish good luck to all testers!

Yeah, I plan on doing it. I didn't start yet, I wanna do it with the Derminator but I got no money.
If I can't get it by around mid December, I'll get a cheaper pen.
Oh!Actually i was also thinking of starting it-Dermaroll+Scalp messages(No other medications or nothing).I am broke now,so I will be only getting dermaroller.But the problem is I have pretty long hair and I dont want to shave it

Nice! It's good to have people trying pure needling, to compare results and see how far it can get you. And I feel your pain... Being broke sucks.

Hair grows at 1.5cm per month. So not long. It seems to grow thin and blonde to start, then hopefully falls out and thickens.
I have ALOT of new thin blondish hair growing now.
Is your existing hair looking stronger or thicker

My hair in general looks better and feels softer, less straw like. But I’ve only been doing it 5 weeks.
The main factors for me so far is a lot of new blonde hair and I mean quite a lot and complete stop of shedding.
Think my 3 month update pic will look good.

Just wanna let everyone know I'm gonna be derma stamping (1.5mm) and doing scalp massages. If I get no results I'll buy a derma pen but I feel like I'm doing a good job with the 140 needle stamp. Been doing the stamp for 21 days (once a week, no results yet), and also started massages using a scalp brush today. Gonna be doing that maybe 1-3 times daily.
Just got off minoxidil 2 days ago after 12 days as it was clearly just going completely systemic for me, and it has caused me chest discomfort as well as other things that are quite worrying. Also I don't take finasteride as I was in a lot of pain in the down low area for 2+ months following 2 1mg pills. Also a very, very bad experience, but everything seems back to normal.
Pretty funny to me that I've really had no problems with my body at all at 23 years old yet these 2 medications my body completely flipped out over. Hopefully this stuff works cause it's all I have left! Feeling hopeful but at the same time I feel like I don't care any more given my body's extreme reactions to finasteride and minoxidil. I've tried everything.

Also, the derminator is the best followed by dr. Pens. Dr pens are all the same
And yes I started doing scalp massages from Nov 1 but I was irresponsible in the first two weeks but in the last two weeks I am scrunching my scalp vigorously for like 20-20=40mins and Yes I am pretty sure I shed pretty less hair from the top part of the scalp.But I lose much more amount from the crown to back side of my head which I barely massage.
