You still on 5mg mate? Still shedding?

With the pull test alot of hair was coming out on the top of my head and crown, now it's not. I still see a large amount if hairs coming out in the shower, but not as drastic as it was. All in all, i think im mostly out of the shedding phase.

Happy for you. You got yours from Thai pharmacy right? This topical minoxidil is doing nothing for me.

yup thailand pharmacy, easy bank transfer. As i have said before i was getting bloated face from dermarolling and foam minoxidil, i don't get that with 5mg at night. Im hopeful and can already see some new hairs growing i think.

Cheers. That’s good. These things take time so seems you’re getting out the ugly phase.

You sound like me. Will try almost anything to bring to this fight. Haha.

I always have shed a lot and still do...in college my dorm mates complained about all the hair everywhere from me...that is why I do not worry about shedding.

Starting to see a strong presence maybe 60/40 of miniature hairs at the hairline worst thinning is unfortunately at the forelock. Still have a full head but diffusing have gotten worse. At my age I can except temple recession but the center first loss is strange looking. Any ideas on turning these .5 inch hairs into terminal hairs again?

I still mix in the RU at the hairline but it’s been 8 months and nothing. I know the long hairs I keep losing will cycle back as miniaturized hairs and I can seem to slow th shedding. Ever day 200-300 (attaches).

Any other ideas?

That’s a constant 300-500 each wash and I know some is regrowing but can’t keep up with the shed plus the regrowth is miniaturized.

I do wander if the minoxidil is doing more harm than good with the shedding.

I remember times when I used to shed 500 hairs a wash.I buzzed my hair down and shedding stopped and hair regrew.I think that you have telogen. If not,get on the finasteride as fast as possible.

If your shedding is truly only because of either just male pattern baldness or your regimen you really need to add fina/duta, it's probably the only thing that could slow crazy shedding like that down.

...and yes, Minoxidil could very will be the cause for all this, particularly since you are on oral.

New image from this morning. I don’t even try to count anymore. It is like a nightmare you can’t wake up from. I’m holding some hope, possibly fake that something else is going on with male pattern baldness but I can’t deny the diffuse thinning.

Tomorrow is 3 months on topical Finasteride with 1 month .5 oral ED, Keto, oral minoxidil 2.5 ED.

Any ideas? Might order Brotzu/Trinov. Still no spots but temples and forelock going fast at this pace. Any ideas? Add raid to drip the minoxidil as it might be helping with some regrowth.

For how long have you been shedding like this?

As far as finasteride goes, if it has any effect on you, you most definitely should see a decrease in hair loss in a few weeks to be honest even if regrowth takes longer (for the lucky few that even gets that lol).

I am in oral along with the topical. Is this normal for MPD always thought it was gradual. I had zero shedding until two years ago.

Since you don't wash hair everyday, then the hair on your counter is from more than one day of loss, so maybe it isn't as bad as it looks. I also had no success on finasteride, tried it for 11 months and I felt I was shedding more throughout the 11 months I was on it. I'm currently using Eucapil (fluridil) and feel like it's slightly reducing shedding for me. I would recommend giving it a try. Also, have you gone to a doctor and had blood work done? You should check to see if your hair loss is caused by something other than male pattern baldness. You should check for any thyroid issues as well as hormone profile and Vit. D deficiency.

Yeah Inwould say that’s about 3 days, usually wash every two. Thing is I don’t count what I shed with dry brushing, usually 20-40 anytime I try to leave the house.

I wonder is stopping RU hurt. I was shedding but still had density in May. Started RU in June and didn’t notice such an increase until dropping RU for Finasteride.

At this rate I’m lost. There are thousands of hairs .5-.75 inches everywhere.

Got a hair cut thinking that the long hairs might be pulling to much and some of the loss was mechanical.

Big mistake. Resulted in being unable to hide the diffusing. I realize proportionally to most male pattern baldness suffers I still have a lot of hair but the change has been dramatic in just two years. I’m really hopeless. I have cyst scars all over my scalp so even the ‘just shave it’ option is a problem.

Hair color is different constant shed.

Coat photo from last March. Density on top is gone.

Should I go nuts or give up:

Oral Minoxidil 2.5, Topical Finasteride, Oral Propecia .5 ED.

Add RU? Add the Italy stuff in December? Add clobetasol?

Why is any of that relevant to this situation? And why do I need to leave anything? Maybe this helps someone that rapidly started but losing their hair later in life. I don’t get this comparison nonesnese. I’ve been pretty respectful of the incredible difficulty young people face in dealing with this horrible condition. If you don’t have anything to add, don’t troll.

The image with light and jacket was before the thinning began. The part is current.
