Reddit is replacing internet forums in general. HairLossTalk.com is actually doing far better than most.

Are you bald?
Still have my hair, diffuse thin and a bit more loss on the crown than normal but not bald at all. Definitely not as thick as before though.

I've used revivogen and folligen consistently all these years, as well as laser combing 3x a week. I use Nizoral 3x a week as well as Nano shampoo (Recommended by good old Bryain, R.I.P).

My younger brother has a bald spot (2 years younger than me) so I think I've done pretty well, I guess I slowed down my hair loss more than anything.

Attached is a picture of my crown and hair. The picture is whilst out in bright sunlight as I've moved out to the Middle East now.

Hope that gives you guys some positive news!

Looks very good considering you've been battling hair loss for at least 2 decades.

I think what happened is the following:
- Social media in general sucking up peoples attention
- Reddit being a better "quick fix" for information
- Google search results

Lets face it, we used to roam these forums as a pass-time. But the youth doesn't do that, they spend time on tik-tok or instagram, so no new users. Also google doesn't have these pages ranked anywhere near the top when you search. That has been going on for almost a decade so again influx of new users finding these posts is low. Everybody knows Reddit, unfortunately Reddit isn't a good store of information as these forums are, so much more information gets lost. Not particularly hopefull for hair loss forums

OKNOW stopped posting. Internet forum died as a result.

I first started using this forum in 2007 under a different name, and have since lost that account. This place saved my hair, literally. It's sad to see forums slowly fade out. They were so helpful in so many areas of life. And yes, it does hurt when you lose people on a forum, even if the relationship was only online.
RIP to my friends up there.

Yes .. this site used to be great… Now it’s so-so… I’m back on & I receive the weekly most popular..

Well thats my fault.

The email registration confirmation emails weren't going out for a LONG long time.

We have about 48,000 pending registrants waiting to click their link and get on the forums.

Not sure how many of them are still interested, but they'll be invited sometime this or next week. Might see a rather large influx of new activity.

Or none at all :)

The cure to hair loss exists and I found it on hair loss talk dot com: a website where most posters are petrified to bits over actually taking any action over what’s causing them tremendous grief.
