Your doctors should not and cannot advise you to use research chemicals. They should, however, acknowledge your use of these compounds when diagnosing you. Hopefully, you meet with a professional who has a scientific approach. It should also give you some peace of mind to have someone else helping you (and be accountable) for your hairloss journey.
Thank you 1919 :)

Very well said! Do not take the advices of all the forum members "on the light shoulder" lol (well, that's a german phrase whopppsiee).

Always consider talking to a professional.

But ngl, go to a good doctor, some dont even know finasteride exists ir how to treat male pattern baldness. Good luck!

Ignore everyone telling you to castrate yourself with estrogen or high dose oral AAs. That's not the life you want. I find RU and oral min to be very tolerable though despite having bad sides on finasteride and dropping it.

If you're OK taking dutasteride stick with it for 6 more months and if you're holding the fort you could consider a transplant. Be conservative though as you may need a few procedures throughout the course of your life.

Balding since 22. Currently on dutasteride, Min, Micro needling, Oral Castor, and LLLT. What else can I do? Thanks
I would highly recommend taking 500mg of niacin daily. If you drink alcohol, I would perhaps not take niacin on the days you drink or take 100-200mg. Be sure you take full flush niacin - you want your capillaries to be as open as possible! I have been taking finasteride and using minoxidil for 10 years and the niacin in the past year has made a noticeable difference. I take 500mg daily after my lunch. I work from home so I can glow in a big way without it being an issue. If you haven't taken niacin realize that it will be an interestingly uncomfortable feeling at first but you will quickly get used to it. You are plenty young so don't sweat any liver issues you might read about. Also, 500mg and below will not cause any issues. While some say that they don't know if niacin works or not... I think they simply don't know. I believe it does. Good luck on your journey!

It works but watch out for all the extra body hair lol.

I have been on oral min a long time and i haven't grown any new body hair or anything, it just seems to have thickend up existing hair, i had no back or chest hair when i started and still don't, same with ears, maybe nose hairs have become a bit worse but nothing too bad really. Combo of 5/10mg oral min and 5/10ml oral castor oil is worth a shot imo, they both synergize well with each other.
