This is so fantastic, and much improved on your original blueprint.

@zircon made a thread once about how it should be somewhat enforced to include your relationship status, experience, etc before you give "advice" on dating. I could understand this completely as we have a lot of red-pill sluthate type posters who feel the need to scoff at people who actually date and f***.

Overall though I had to disagree with it, because it may be generally annoying, my free-speech cuckness side feels that even ignorant people should be able to express themselves, regardless of how inexperienced and retarded their views may be.

However, I want to calculate my score now and put it in my signature, because as much as I try to understand the depression level of others, I'll never truly know it. I won't have to think about it every minute of my life.

And because of that, possibly my views can be skewed, this is relevant.

AMAZING!! Good work man. can you make a category for sickly diffused thinning in the NW7 pattern? or is that just considered NW7? Because I am 35 and 100% feel like sh*t.

Have you guys heard of the Hairloss Trauma Score? Probably not, because i just made it up in an attempt to help people quantify where they stand in terms of hairloss suffering. Many of the arguments in the Impact section revolve around how much more this person or that person suffers, and that type of argument serves to invalidate anyone else's opinion. I propose a matrix that allows us to consistently measure how miserable hairloss has made each of us - this is the Hairloss Trauma Matrix.

To use it, simply map out your hairloss journey and add up the amounts yearly for a total misery score - my score, for example, is 401. What's your score? Attached is a clean file you can use to calculate yours.

by the way, i have no idea why (H.T.S) translated to hair transplants on the title - that's pretty dumb. @Roberto_72 can you fix title by removing (hair transplants)? it has nothing to do with title
Fixed
And it is genius

This table is depressing and awesome wrapped into one package.

My score is a 57, I pray it stays this way. I'm a diffuse thinner so I can never get a transplant, so it's DHT inhibitors + minoxidil or slick bald + steroid game for me.

We need the cure. No matter the age balding sucks, it's even traumatizing obviously. You know just as I'm feeling better about my hair I see my crown from an angle that almost made me f*****g vomit. Ruined my night and now I'm here relentlessly reading about current treatments and future pipeline news.

f*** hairloss.

Do you have DUPA or are thinning in the donor zone? I thought that diffusers could still be candidates as long as they had good donor and were on finasteride and minoxidil to reduce risk of shock loss.

No DUPA and my donor is fine. It's just that I'm only 24 so it's risky, my hairloss hit my very hard and sudden but I've recovered nicely so far. But being how I'm not far removed from having a full head anything but is unsatisfactory.

Just my damn crown man...Shock loss scares me along with unknown progression, otherwise I would be on a flight somewhere asap for surgery.

I think your scale is a bit unrealistic.

I was almost NW2A with diffuse hair loss all over my head at 23 and I definitely feel like my trauma was greater than just 16% - it was closer to 50, 60% TBH.

Now I am 25 and a NW2 diffuse and I feel it is around 30%.

I guess you could say - the perceived pain is relative to how much it impacts your looks and what your overall tolerance is for the decay in your appearance.

Ok but you need a way to standardize.
Maybe this H T S can give us some perspective.
Going back to Ron Wood, it is true he wants his hair at 70, but it is also true it is a minor hiccup compared to the ailments of old age.

I can't even remember what it feels like to be a Norwood 1, I think I began balding when I was 18 but back then I didn't know what Norwood scales were or anything. Now I am 21 and as NW3 as you can get before you become NW4. was one of those babies whose hair didn't grow until I was 2 as well. I had about 16 years of good hair.

16 years and around 14 of them you were just kid who hasn't hit puberty yet, so it's more like 2 years that you enjoyed hair and looks. I started at 16.

Yeah I started growing my hair out long when I was 15 and loved my long locks but looking back I think it actually made me more oblivious since with the long hair in my face I couldn't tell the recession and diffusion on crown as well as I could with short hair and I may have noticed and started treatment earlier if so. I am planning on getting a hair transplant at the front to at least get a normal hairline back and then hopefully finasteride and minoxidil will preserve my crown.

That's good choice, actually the crown is the easiest part to notice regrowth in. The last two years i discovered very good haircuts and even learnt to cut my hair by myself at home. Until balding kicked in and told me that it's not allowed anymore.

Yeah one of the worst things about balding for me is that it wipes out your hairstyle options. You can only do combover with receding hairline and if you go full horseshoe you can only either do buzzcut or skullet. I liked playing around with different hairstyles when I was younger. Now I can only do that with wigs.

I'm diffuse thinning NW2 at 17, i can't even leave my house because my thinning hair is now obvious. The receding is not that noticeable for non-Norwood spotters, but it's still receding very fast.

Have you ever tried concealers like Toppik? I have seen them be able to make guys who had like 100 hairs on their head at least look like they have hair.
