I had serious hair issue and this place helped me immensely. The impact section is a distraction.

This is a good effort, but the fact that this chart doesn't at all account for diffuse thinning, DUPA, retrograde alopecia etc. renders it incomplete.

@macaroni can you do any of your wizardy here and tone down his features so see what he looks like. give him a normal nose, nrmal ears and smaller chin. shave the horseshoe, give him a tan and bulk him up a bit

I know the feel all too well. Not even with hair I looked even remotely good.

I tried to photoshop hair to my avatar and it was ugly none the less.

Have you guys heard of the Hairloss Trauma Score (H.T.S.)? Probably not, because i just made it up in an attempt to help people quantify where they stand in terms of hairloss suffering. Many of the arguments in the Impact section revolve around how much more this person or that person suffers, and that type of argument serves to invalidate anyone else's opinion. I propose a matrix that allows us to consistently measure how miserable hairloss has made each of us - this is the Hairloss Trauma Matrix.

To use it, simply map out your hairloss journey and add up the amounts yearly for a total misery score - my score, for example, is 401. What's your score? Attached is a clean file you can use to calculate yours.

by the way, i have no idea why (H.T.S) translated to hair transplants on the title - that's pretty dumb. @Roberto_72 can you fix title by removing (hair transplants)? it has nothing to do with title

My cumulative score is

NW2 at 18 - 0.09
NW3 at 19 - 0.36
NW3v at 20 - 0.71
NW3v at 21 - 1.05

I expect to stay NW3v on my 22nd bd thanks to finasteride.

Since I hit peak hair loss related depression at 21 with self harm episodes, this table is spot on because I passed 100% exactly at 21.

Once you hit cumulative 100%, psychological damage is irreversible. Good job. Hair loss is life mangling sh*t.
