Well, that's a very simplistic take on the whole fat Vs bald shamefest.
Some overweight conditions are clearly genetic.

my friend didn't treat his hairloss because its looked down on by society
now with his diffuse nw5 (headed to nw9), he can take pride and enjoy the respect he will get from society due to his noble decision
oh wait no, he'll have a markedly lower quality of life and will be invisible to most of society
