The worst thing about being ginger is that you're more likely to be fugly, I don't see much wrong with being an average ginger.

thats some dark sh*t man

ive always been fascinated by genes and how i got to my height and my f*****g hair loss

all my immdeitate family have great hair yet im nw7 bound by 40 ffs. my dad is a bit taller than me which bugs the sh*t out of me. i always wondered if i could have gotten taller and better hair by better nutrition from them as a kid. i pretty much ate dogshit my entire childhood
Ye it's sh*t that these people you look up to the most during your most pivotal years can set you up for failure. I wish I'd of had one strong parent.

Born in a shithole with sh*t parents has given me a loser mentality which is going to be hard to break.

You fancy having kids someday ?

But wow, just had a realisation that despite my hatred of baldness, I guess there's plenty of other things I'd hate more. Kinda puts it in perspective.
I was hoping someone else would say that because that was my realisation when I first had this conversation. Sometimes we get trapped in this cycle of cynicism and we start to believe that baldness is the worst physical flaw that a man could have. And then when you really think about, most people would actually rather be bald then be a manlet or obese.

I definitely think the gingers won on this thread though - if anyone ever hears a ginger complain then show them this thread!

not sure, i doubt it. i can see both sides to it. if i did i wana be a late parent in my 40s when ive got my life figured out. i aint having no kid when im still figuring sh*t out and dont have the financial security to raise a kid properly.

cliche as it sounds, you can only go up from here mate.

get your hair fixed, try to build yourself a decent career, focus on your hobbies and get the f*** OUT OF BIRMINGHAM lol

I don't have a problem with redheads. As a matter of fact I used to visit this pornographic website that catered to gingers. I think it was called Firebush or something like that.

I'd call it Red Snapper.

Admittedly ginger bushes (even with just a little hair) do look a little strange, the odd contrast of red hair on pale skin, but once you get stuck in there then who gives a sh*t.

I don't think I have heard a ginger complain though.

And I'll still see baldness as damn unfair because manlet, obese, fugly, any of these things wouldn't make me, me. I'd be a different person, may as well ask if I'd have no legs, or be a female.

Hair loss however is me, which I'm perfectly fine with, but having this excelerating flaw that dominates my thoughts.

I see your point though.

Oh I should add as well that for me baldness might not even be that damaging aesthetically when it all goes. Apart from possible bad head shape, facial hair suits me, and like the guy in your OP I think I might still be somewhat OK with it, but manlet etc would seriously drop me points.

My dad lives in a small town in Spain which is pretty rural and I hope to live in that sort environment in the future, I've got to set my self up first but the lifestyle and weather suits me a lot more then whatever this sh*t we've got over here is. I'd rather live a modest life over there then be rich in this hell hole

You sound like me in the sense that you wont look ugly bald, but you would just much rather have hair than not.

There's a hilarious documentary on Netflix about how hard it is to be ginger/

As mentioned as long my head isn't surprisingly alien massive bald, I could still be an over average man. I've realised this year a beard really makes my aesthetics stand out and would be vital with baldness. However nobody wants to drop standards, I've had a good run at 30 and can't complain too much but I don't see why this should end for me when much younger good looking women are still somewhat interested, and that's not happening without hair.

Might actually check out that documentary though.

He is norwood 2,with no diffusion on his head at all, but has the most dangerous hair feature on this planet, more dangerous than baldness if you asked me.

He has paintbrush like hairs.
Have you ever seen such hairs on head?

I would take baldness in single heartbeat than that paintbrush type hard hairs on my head.

Actually,i never seen any comment on Hairlosstalk mentioning such type of hairs!
I can't take his hairs pic because it would awkward to do so,
I have never seen a dangerous paint brush head.

I'd much rather be butt ugly than grotesquely fat

People cut ugly people a break, and even try to help
H

In order of what I'd rather be:

1) ginger
2) bald
3) manlet
4) fugly
5) obese

I think you may feel more ostracized and get weirder reactions as fugly more often, but I'd find it too frustrating to know there's nothing I can ever do to change my body. I think it would really get to me after a while, even more so than fugly.

But wow, just had a realisation that despite my hatred of baldness, I guess there's plenty of other things I'd hate more. Kinda puts it in perspective.

I didn't want to use extremes so when I said obese I meant fat but not morbidly obese:

Obese:

Morbidly obese:

Super morbidly obese:

The comparisons were all disasters

I don't feel better knowing it could be worse

Yeah, maybe it doesn't help.

Its a bit like when you are bored and someone goes would you rather be blind, disfigured or paralysed.

The post stems from a real life conversation with some people - I think they all said they would least like to be obese.

There was a 10 year old kid on TV this morning with facial deformities from birth, raising awareness for some film that's coming out about being ugly (could be Impact Section Film Thread worthy if he goes NW3 in a few years) and he said he hates the negative attention from other children, but even worse is that daily in public, even adults just regularly stare at him.

Grown adults, staring at a kid, in gawk and awe and deciding not to realise he has a defect, just open mouth staring, at an ugly child.

Probably some fat grown adults too, munching down on their high saturated sh*t, clogging up their arteries, sitting back enjoying the 21st century freak show on public transport, for free.
