It's true, but missing the point. Most problems that good looking people have, we have as well, it's just that for us these problems pale in comparison to our other ugliness related problems.

On the other hand attractive people very often are unhappy, and people here overestimate how much happiness good-looks will bring. Unfortunately our brains prioritize problems in a way that even if your life is sorted you can end up worrying, being stressed and even depressed about relatively tiny problems.

After lifting weights for 1.5 month now, I'm convinced that happiness has a lot to do with our brain chemistry.

As someone with mild bipolar disorder, I'll have moments when I feel very depressed for a few hours for absolutely no reason (so not even tiny problem, but nothing at all).

Last Sunday, after my girlfriend left, I knew that I should have felt very depressed. Because that is what usually happens.

And to my surprise, I didn't, those moments just don't happen anymore, my 'happiness level' mostly stays stable now.

And I'm sure it's because of the psychological benefits that gymcelling brings.

I'm sure other things contribute to my happiness though: having a stable job, having sex regularly, enjoying my hobbies, and of course, liking my reflection in the mirror, to name a few.

FYI I do not triggered on the internet almost at all.

That gymceling rant I deliver is mostly for a joke.

Good looks are merely one ingredient to a good life. You also need good health, good opportunity, etc.

Good looks won't help you that much if you're born in the Gaza strip.

My cousin is good looking, smart and successful. He lost his baby to sudden infant death syndrome. Is he blessed? No.
