Why Do You Guys Keep Surfing This Forum? (genuine Question)

I do plan on talking a break from the site at some point when the British summer decides to come around for its 10 days a year.

I don't find the site depressing but it's definitely addictive and I'd prefer to get addicted to learning a language or things of that nature. It's sort of like social media it's the same threads over and over again and you get stuck in the cycle.

basically, this forum is a group of regulars who like each other and enjoy communicating with each other about a lot of topics, only one of them being hair loss.

That makes it sound as something nerdy and gay. And that's good.

Most people do take a break and then come back after a few months. I think there are only about 6 or 7 regular posters who never take a break.

If/when I get a transplant (fingers crossed early next year) I'd like to be able to believe I didn't have to frequent so often. I wish I'd of joined earlier tbh instead of living in combover denial

Yeah, you will look a ton better after a hair transplant.

I don't think you would suit the shaved head look.

Are you on finasteride?
is it even worth doing a hair transplant without taking finasteride before and afterwards?

Unfortunately finasteride is a must for halting or at least slowing down hair loss. So it is advisable to use it even after a transplant.

I look okay bald so I'm probably not as eager as some people are for hair transplant, but if i'd never shaved it I would have never have known.

Two reasons - the guys on here told me I looked good bald and even said I look better bald (which is super unusual for this forum), and the second reason is that I was still getting tinder matches and dates when bald.

I grew my hair back because I prefer to have something on my head - its just a personal preference and not really to do with looking attractive.

tbh I want to zero guard my head too to see how my future self will look like but hell I'm scared as f*** that I wouldn't like it, then I'd have to wait like 4 months for it to grow back up and walk with hats/beanies whenever I'm outside, not sure if I'm ready for that yet

I totally get that because I had the same fears.

I did it when I had a month off from work and uni so knew I could hide if I hated it.

Its worth considering anyway. If you want to then share a picture with me via pm and I will let you know if I think you will look okay bald.

its not bad. take supplements like B12 to make it grow fast + you will just have a buzzcut in a matter of weeks. its just a haircut

I am prone to, I got gyno and brain fog. But I'm just too f*****g scared of going bald.

you got gyno and brainfog but you're still on the drug? how can you even function with brain fog?
and gyno is just as bad as being bald if not worse btw
