First of all there's no way it's a choice unless you are bisexual or already flexible.
Secondally having hair matters just as much for gay or straight . The issue isn't the acceptance of women , the issue is being attractive to prospective partners

His husband, who is definitely balding/(Norwood 4+) is fifteen years younger than him, and is a Norwood 4+.
Even as straight males, we have a "sexual type". So, I really don't men who are gay would
be very different. Some white men are attracted to "darker" skin women, and the same is true
for some women of darker skin (attracted to white men).
(To be fair, I can't judge every gay person by one).
