@ seb what is the difference if your opinion?

well i dont really say a whole lot, pretty shy, short and shy, so i plan to let my hair do the talking!

my ultimate plan is to show girls how money i am.

my friend is coming round soon, he will help me have a house party at my place.

the clubs are too loud, i don't like it.

i am planning to do a beuty therapy course at local college, should be chicks their so i can make female friends and hopefullyback to my place to show them how money i am then followed swiftly by sex.

What visually?-Quite a lot.Having a bit of hair at the sides(and obviously at the back)gives a slight bit of frame to the face,it softens the severity compared to being sly.Lighting reflects less IMO when haivng a horseshoe,it also makes ones face look fuller. You don't look ill with a horseshoe, you get less s**t off people because they can see you are bald, also you don't look like a racist/bouncer with a horseshoe.
Yes before anyone says why don't you grow a horseshoe,I have had before being sly,I just feel in more exposed when having a horseshoe, like an old man. From the sides it looks slightly better than sly,but the back(that ring around)looks terrible.

The only difference between SAF and guys like "us" is that he has hair now. If he didn't he would be just as depressed, self conscious and self loathing as we are, I imagine. But to say that confidence was the problem, not hair is not true. Doesn't much of our confidence come from our appearance?

To put it another way:

Bald man = disadvantaged.
Bald man with no confidence and depressed personality = hopeless.

well what UCMan is saying is HOW are we NOT supposed to have "no confidence/depressed personality" if confidence is based on what we look like?

if i was 5 foot tall id feel like sh*t, id be fucked for women, its kinda obvious, i mean there isn't really much i can do to counter that with confidence/personality, its more a case of money tbh.

the white guys that adopt the sly look and genuinly look pretty sh*t try to gain confidence form within and don't look at what they actually look like, this is a stupid mentality.

How come 90% of bald guys manage to lose their hair without turning into insecure whining wrecks and joining forums and trying treatments?

its not 90%

stats are about 50% of young balding guys are fixing their hairloss these days.

in the 70s it was 10%, time magazine said so.

But most are'nt obbsessing about it, what percentage are joining forums ang having hair transplant's or wearing wigs?
And 90% are getting on with their lives much better than people on here.

Very much doubt those stats.

Do people really believe an average member of these forums represents your average balding male? Every single bald/balding guy that I know IRL gets on with life just fine instead of being a depressed, self loathing, whining b**ch. Sure, they aren't dating "perfect 10's", but hair alone wouldn't help them there either.

depends what situation they are in, if their balding (but not totally bald) in 30s and are in a relationship with a girl of 3+ years (met in mid 20s, or late 20s) and she isn't bothered by it, then fine.

this is fairly common-ish and usually represents the 30 something balding (but not totally bald) guys.

and when i say balding i mean diffusing tops or bald spots or NW5s, not NW3s in 30s people.

but the guys that are TOTALLY bald in 20s and single, they will be the ones fixing their hairloss the most.

the first person i bought a hairpiece from the guy that sold me it was bald in his 40s, he just let it happen he didnt care and neither did his 40 something wife.

but if he was balding in 20s there is a fairly high chance he would fix it, maybe a good 50+% chance.

i dont think your 90% of young 20 something balding guys are not DOING anything about it, or caring is just BS.

stats are in and i read an artical that said 50% of young 20 something men are getting hair transplants and wigs, so next time you head into a U.S. college campus and you hardly see any 20 something balding guys, there is a good chance that 50% of them are wigging their life, at least in their 20s.

Seriously if that were anywhere near true there would be hair transplant clinics and Wig shops on every high street.

:agree: :stupid:

Also if HPM's stats were true this site would have a membership in the 10'000'000's.

maybe it was more 30%

but honestly how many 20 something balding guys do you see in college.

they don't seem to exist, explain that.

Probably because the majority of guys that age just are'nt balding, but wait a few years and some of them will be.

Your arguement is like saying that because 80% of guys are over 5'9" about 50% of them must all be secretly wearing lifts.

well how common is it to be balding in 20s, because i never see it at college.

and i said 30-50% of that age group are fixing their baldness, of THAT age group, so why aren't i seeing it.
