Women and men both care about looks. The myth that women go more for personality is not true imo

But you can't lump in all women together. there are some women who would date a less attractive guy with a better personality just as there are some who would date an attractive guy with a bad personality. I do think it's rare to find a person ( male or female) who doesn't care about looks at all. Looks do play a big role in dating but don't act like a hole guys can get any girl

I guess I'm a victim of hype, because I knew I'd love all the press conferences, which I did, but I did not expect myself to get this excited over such a stupid fight.

I've always concretely said the outcome is undeniable, but like a child hoping for some magic, I've given in to the idea that my mind is wondering... could it possibly happen?!

I'm still putting money on Mayweather 3rd round.

I'm Irish and have a lot of friends in the MMA/boxing scene, some of which have trained and sparred with Conor (in particular a guy from here who was his main sparring partner for the last Diaz fight) so everyone I know is betting on Conor, but sorry, that's ridiculous.

As I say, the build up gets me thinking of other possibilities. If Mayweather is hit easily, I will find it hard to accept it was a real fight.

good for him. he was a nobody only a few years back right? hes marketed himself well. 100 million for a fight hes sure to lose. lol. not even a boxer

is it all an act from him or is the guy were seeing on tv the real him? i suspect its a bit of both

not sure why mayweather is doing it. guess hes just bored with life. doesnt need the money. breaking marciano record doesnt count with this bullshit fight. must just be bored

but like you ive got caught up in the hype. id love for mcgregor to win. ill put a few quid down for fun. theres always the 'what if' factor that draws you in on these things

this fight has actually got me into mma a lot more. been watching a lot of old fights. catching up on who the best fighters are etc. watched a lot of diaz stuff. big fan of those guys just from 2 weeks of youtube vids. especially nick. kinda of gutted i didnt get into this more a few years back. some of those mma fights were brutal, espec the last two mcgregor diaz fights. great stuff

The first fight that broke me into it was Gustafsson vs Cormier 2015, check that one out. You are similar to me in the fact I'm not well versed in boxing or MMA, however I have a lot of friends who know absolutely everything about it, so I'm drawn into it.

I haven't watched any of either Diaz' brothers fights apart from Nate and Conor, any suggestions? I use MMAversus by the way.

But I can't speak highly enough of Conor, he made himself determined to do well in a sport that I don't believe he was naturally gifted in (at least on a world-class level). And this determination is inspiring no doubt, but Floyd will choose how to destroy him.

I definitely think a normal guy with Conor's ability would get his *** kicked straight away, but a guy with Conor's mentality will push things further than I could imagine.
