Currently this is my hairline, from the pictures you can see that the right side is thinning as I have wispy hairs and in bright lights it appears thin. I want to know how people with this recession style their hair without the wispy bits and every time I put product in, wind will ruin it and my hair will rise up and look like donald f*****g trump.

Should I cut it shorter and look balder or try some other product? Also would minoxidil or finasteride help with frontal thinning?

I have a similar hairline and I decided to buzz it, because I don't want to get paranoid if people are noticing that I'm hiding my baldness.

It's fine NW2 max, finasteride alone may be enough for you. Give it 12 months of fun before trying minoxidil.

I have this theory about lighting that freaks me the f*** out. In normal daylight I have come to learn from mirrors and photos that my thinning is not that noticeable, however during night or if there is a really bright artificial light it makes my hair look thin and my scalp extra red... Also I noticed that when the natural daylight shines on my scalp it sometimes makes it blend in maybe as I am blonde, who knows haha.

Anyway these are some photos of my thinning with my hair parted and can clearly see a thinning parting and crown is slightly thinning. As you can see the flash from the phone in a dark room portrays my hair to look like I am near bald but the normal no flash looks much better!

Just a theory but what do you guys think?

Finasteride! Works fine on the vertex.

But you need patience....few months minimum

People have told you ever since you started to get on finasteride and min but all you ever do is make up excuses and post new pictures every few months, wake the f*** up and do something about it man, being worried and scared will not help you a single bit, do somethjing whjile you can

Ok I am now 21 and have thought a lot about what to do and I am strongly thinking about propecia but part of me wants to embrace what inevitably will be a bald head. As i am so young surely whatever I take may prolong it but in 30 years I will be a slap head haha.

These are the most recent pics of each view. Comparing all my images (I know too many lol) I cant see much worse but maybe a bit higher temples and slight crown thinning.

Try Rogaine. And with new technology rogaine could
Bridge you until better treatments come out

Dude

NO

Get on finasteride or you'll be wondering why you didn't sooner. You're basically a full head still. You think it bothers you a bit now it will only get worse the further your hair loss progresses

Dont listen to people saying finasteride only and then maybe minoxidil do both and maybe nizoral.

Why aren't you on medication yet? Afraid of side effects?

And here i was thinking i have the most aggressive hair loss.
In my defense i started losing my hair when i was 15. Had a hairline of -NW2 At 20 im a NW2.5 with a thinning crown(not noticeable).

Get on the finasteride train and try it for at least a good amount of time.
You can keep posting your pics but thats just pointless.
Accept you are fighting a losing battle and enjoy all you can.

Are you saying mine is really bad then? Like for 21 it is bad but I have seen a lot worse, of course yours isnt the most aggressive. Some people are almost bald at 21.

Yep, like I am normally happy and love down time (if you get me) Do i want to risk feeling depressed or reduced labido to save hair. Is it worth it for messing with my body?

I really want to man, but sides and stories I hear are stopping me. However I might just go for it. Also as for "full head of hair" I am receding and thinning at crown, not quite full is it haha

Bro

You HEAD is in danger of becoming permanently disfigured. It's a GUARANTEED effect of untreated male pattern baldness. Risk of finasteride sides is not high

You've got to weigh the risk reward here

Do you though

^ I suggest if you're going to try finesteride PLEASE start around 0.25 mg a day to test your tolerance. Read my thread - I have been on 1mg a day for over 3 years and my body is fucked.
