24M, significant diffuse thinning and receding hairline - is this salvageable?

also, thoughts on sublingual vs oral?
Sublingual just gets the drug into the bloodstream faster, and it clears the system faster, so it makes the half-life really short. People started doing this to minimize side effects, but IMO it reduces the effectiveness way too much. Oral will have a longer half life, and will also go through firs-pass metabolism since it is digested, which causes the liver to produce more of the enzyme sulfotransferase which converts minoxidil into its active form, minoxidil sulfate. So for those reasons sublingual is pointless to me. If you want to minimize sides just do topical. If you want maximum results use oral.

My cardiopulmonary function is boss, not concerned with sides. Been doing 2 drops orally in the AM and its way easier to fit in. Will keep you posted my man.

Any sides over the last few days? Heart palpitations, resting heart rate increase, chest pain?

I've seen fearmongering about ketoconazole shampoo as well lol
Where does it stop? They will be fearmongering microneedling next.

Lmao. It is funny how people really do fear monger minoxidil even more than finasteride these days.
So how effective are these 2-3 drops of liquid min I’m taking each morning, to, say a 2.5-5mg oral tablet? Would the tablet be categorically more expensive? I can get them here in the UK, but they will be significantly more expensive.

In other news, since properly restarting finasteride about 6-8 weeks ago and being consistent with it, as well as starting a small amount of oral min, the mega shed continues.

In normal lighting it looks ok, but any rain or wearing hats or makes my hair look a bit shitty. I’m feeling OK with it, but I am of course hopeful that i get back to the density I had before. Still considering buzzing it again, think it looks alright especially with the beard.

Keeping it real with you guys - it’s not all sunshine and roses.

I personally have not drank the liquid, but according to many posters on here it seems to be reliable. 0.1mL = 5mg. 0.25mL = 12.5mg which would be quite the dose! So it shouldn't take much. Some users actually put the drops in empty capsules. IIRC I got them from AllDayChemist and get a 6 month supply for about 150 bucks, but that's for 10mg a day. But for 5mg a day that would last an entire year.

I think buzzing it now would be interesting, to compare to the before pics.

At least it still looks good in normal lighting and you are not that guy who went bald in his 20s. So I say stay the course, and you should see some noticeable improvement in about 2-3 more months or so.
