My hair got black :O(well ...almost).

I kept receiving comments like: "what have you done with your hair??? oh! your hair is so dense and black!!

many who do the SE have claimed this also. Look at tom haggarty's hair and its still 80% dark even though hes in his 70's. I did the SE back in the day and decided to rededicate myself to doing them since the beginning of the year but this time combined with my minoxidil/Propecia/nizoral. Good signs to far.

SE-freak, how often and how many times per day do you do the SE?

Hair is sprouting everywhere in the temple areas, I can see hair where there was none before. And my hairline was ok to begin with. But changes there seem to be taking much more time(cycles) to become obvious.

Are you currently applying or have you applied minoxidil to your temple areas? (considering you never had a problem there.)

Yes I am using minoxidil in the frontal area too since the start of my treatment. Although my hairline was more than acceptable, temple density was not similar to the center of my hairline. My first results were to be seen in the frontal area, soft and fine, yet pigmented fur, "drawing" the borders of a perfect hairline. I am not sure if all this growth will live to become strong terminal hair but it was, and is I must say, very encouraging.

I had some unwanted growth too, my eyebrows tend to merge with my hair body. Nothing chewbicious though. :O

Hi, old friend! :)

The SE has become a part of my daily routine. I used to and still overdo it.(get the burn every chance I get, somewhere between 30mins-3hours throughout the day :freaked2: no specific "times" "sets" or duration. I prefer to get the burn with 10 solid minutes than doing a couple of reps every hour though )

I really believe it has changed the laxity of my scalp skin (I am *NOT* claiming that it has certainly helped with hair since I am using proven treatments at the same time, my hunch if anyone gives a rat's butt is that it has played a role in at least preparing healthier skin for growth) and the looks of my upper face. I have read that minoxidil can also alter hair pigmentation but my hair has gotten dark ALL over(not only in the specific areas of minoxidil application). My scalp certainly "feels" different.

btw, 6 month shedding continues.

Exellent results SE-freak! Do you have any irritation now?

I am currently going through a shed. I have noticed that during a shed, irritation returns. I guess it will calm down completely, like during the first 6 months.

got the same thing going on here in relation to the "drawing" hair, except the drawing is at my temples right above the ears (VERY last place I ever expected to gain hair). That hair now juts out towards my eyes. Thing is, I have NEVER had that kind of hair in this area. It was always pretty much straight up and down since I can remember. It's thinned out a bit again about 2 months ago, but im expecting thicker hair and more pronounced temples. LOTS of vellus mixed with dark pigmented hairs. My vertex and mid-top has responded just like your hair and haven't been able to pull out a single hair in about 5 months.

What kind of artefact do you use to do your Scalp Estimulation?

Still shedding heavily.

Pat my head over the sink and my sink gets a hairstyle. Weird enough, my hair image is not worse, it might have also improved a bit.

and still shedding. :freaked:

I tend to believe that one can shed a substantial(over "normal") number of hairs daily while his hair image keeps improving.

Shedding is not the enemy afterall. :)

Goodguy,

Read about the SE here: http://www.hairloss-reversible.com

Keep in mind that I do not attribute my progress to the SE, I am combining it with two proven treatments(finasteride-minoxidil)

You know it is funny, cause I read some posts here and there about losing the inconceiveable amount of 10 or 50 or 60 hairs per day. People freak out, hair "should stay put so that we can have more".

It does not work that way I suppose. Obviously, new hair comes into play equally fast, lower quality shafts are replaced with better ones but people still count and will count hairs.

I gladly welcomed my first shed (I am sure some people in here would freak out with that number of hairs lying there-it was hillarious) and my second prolonged one. Being on treatments is a huge shift for hair health and any hair lost while on treatments has a VERY good chance of coming back thicker and healthier.

I currently have a full head of hair.

That said, I still do not have the same density all over(although my hair resembles animal fur :D ) this becomes obvious when wet and combed in certain ways, but I am very optimistic regarding further improvement.

I looked at that page, but I don't see where it talks about the question I asked you.

What kind of artefact do you use to make your scalp estimulation?

Are you just rubbing or massaging your scalp with your fingers?
