If you still have something on top, you're not really slick bald, even shaved. The outline of a hairline makes a huge difference.

Yeah, I know. But would still have to be shaved. Non-shaved shitty hair is just that.

Actually, people tell me all the time I'd look great bald. I have very thick facial hair that i keep groomed well. And i have the narrow tall head.

I'm also 195 lean with a pretty toned physique. I work out 4x a week

Id have to see your face and profile. I see a cone head type of thing going on there. I'm hardly making fun, because I have a bicycle seat type head myself. Bald is not good on me

I don't think so. If it does, it would only be temporary anyway until the dryness issue is resolved.

I have less sides on dutasteride than finasteride. And there was no massive shed. And besides, sheds are temporary. You want to save your hair or not?

I am nit taking any but it to me it seems that if the sexual sides (or other sides) don't bother you then you shouldn't be scared by sheds. It's very likely that you won't have what to shed anyway after a while just from male pattern baldness

Great to hear! Would you recommend i start now or give finasteride the full year first?

And should I start with 1x a week and gradually work my way up to 3x?

No for dutasteride, and your pictures are too blurry to tell sh*t. Here's some advice, buy a used old iPhone for 50 bucks on eBay and go outside in the sunlight and take some actual pictures.

Also, you would be better served saving for a transplant than going on dutasteride in my opinion.

Blocks all types of DHT at in my opinion a dangerous amount for the long term, has a very long half life, just an overall much stronger drug. If finasteride is like a pistol, dutasteride is a bazooka.

Well i know for a fact i never want to have children so I'm not worried about sterility.

And i haven't gotten a single side on finasteride so i figured why not. Plus ashton kutcher took it for a decade

I think the “lost” chunk in your hairline may just be a smudge on the toaster youre using to take your progress photos.

On a serious note this whole thread is irrelevant as you simply can not compare a single photo to one another.

If your hair was really deteriorating at the rate you believe I don’t think even duta would save it.

But from the limited info I can gather from your photos your hair looks the same.

Just stick it out for a whole year and reassess then whether to change up your routine.

It may all be in your head, you never know.

If you want noticeable regrowth add in minoxidil and microneedling.

Finasteride tends to just maintain the hair at the level it was when you started.
