My build is only the result of heavy lifting,I am naturally an ectomorph.Regarding my height,NO,nor should one have to,trade a positive trait,in order too obtain another(especially as hair is natural.EVERYBODY has hair, not everyone is over 6ft.

Well that's not entirely true, is it?

I knew someone such as you would pick up on that. You(and everyone else) know damn well what I meant....

Well I don't know why you'd make such a claim 'cause it simply isn't true. :dunno:

Ok I worded it wrong. What I meant was, ones height and build are largely pre-determined(however they can be altered some-what).With hair, everybody is born with hair,it is natural...regardless of how many people since time began have lost their hair,we,as a species are designed to have hair on our heads, every human is not designed to be big are and over 6ft.
Is that better MR PEDANTIC. :)

Id rather have hair and be "normal" looking as opposed to looking like a gimp.(all of the aforementioned stereotypes).

if given the chance would you sacrifice your height and build for hair?

well if we imagine such hypothetical situation, you'd have to pick which trait is more important to you.

I honestly dont know...losing something you have had since I was 20 vs gaining something Ive never had since I was 20.

you enjoy being tall, that's understandable. but we both know in some ways you'd be better off accepting the offer and sacrificing your height. were all aware how important hair is and 5'10, while not tall, is an acceptable height. you'd be seen as normal thus sparing discrimination.

that's all just fantasy of course, no f*****g elf is going to show up to give us any options. :)

Funny thread...

I'm a cross between fitness nut and badass biker...

Like body looks like I am obsessed with fitness but lifestyle of badass...

And happilly that combination should ensure I won't live long enough to be old geezer!

If I had a full head of hair being shorter wouldn't be a problem. Once, a lady told me she never realized I was bald because she was so short she never saw the top of my head.

On the subject of things we'd sacrifice for hair - how many of us are risking doing that with our sex lives in taking systemic 5a reductase inhibitors?

I can't imagine how the Prophelp/PFS guys must feel, having to acknowledge that they did that very thing. Yeah it couldn't have been predicted that such adverse reactions might occur but I also think it's very easy to speak with hindsight, I mean I came off SSRIs as soon as my sex life was negatively affected, but I have and will again ride out sexual sides from finasteride and hope they abate....

Ha, lol.

I am grateful of course, cos looking back I see that I was always too preoccupied with sex and having a good time and that's why I didn't know enough to do anything about my hairloss.

Now I have much more free time to study and absorb the culture, I'm not gonna let myself be distracted at all!

Sex is overrated, like most things in life. Some days I feel I am one step away from a monastery....well I am half way there with the hair.

I'm the nice guy stereotype Norwood 3 sensitive, depressed, woman talk to me and I look average, but I feel I can't pass the friendship boarder, I don't have the confidence that someone without hairloss would have.
