I really cant fathom how SAF has the guile to laugh about our feelings, when he obviously hated baldness so much,he got a hair transplant.Imagine if there was no such treatments, what would youre mindset be then SAF?.....

Err because your feelings are totally ridiculous. :dunno:
Even when I was bald I never thought for a second that the rest of the world hated me or to any degree that matters thought less of me because of it.
If there were no treatments I would'nt like it but I'd just have to accept the situation. Which is what most baldies manage to do.

FFS if people can accept losing their legs and adapt to it what the f**ks wrong with you?
You have the exact same options as me.
I hated the way I looked bald being a 5'9" snow white babyfaced guy not a tall tanned and big built guy I could'nt pull the look off.
So I did the best I could to try and fix it, and as many on here know things did'nt go well I had half my donor wasted by Hacks and thats coming from the position of NW6 so you can imagine the difficulty I face now trying to make things look acceptable.

I got the p!ss taken out of me plenty of times as a baldy but so what? :dunno:
It was just comments made by people who had no idea how it feels and who probably thought it was harmless, no doubt they forgot about it a minute later even if I did'nt.
Geez if you cant take a few comments how do you cope with the everyday trials of life?

There was someone on here who had a signature quote saying something along the lines of "Do you think the world gives a f**k about you".
Well thats the case NOBODY except you cares about wether you have hair or not, nobody thinks of you for longer than 3 seconds unless you do something that influences their life.

Fact is most of the biggest depressives on here have serious paranoid issues that lead them to believe that the rest of society is against them and they seem to have manifested these feelings to a point of relating it entirely to their lack of hair.

Yes now I have a hairline (NW2.5) and a thin covering uptop but things did'nt automaticly change because of it people did'nt treat me any different people always wanted to socialise with me even as a baldy (just like all of the other baldies out there who take it in their stride) but I felt too insecure.
The only difference now is that I began to feel more comfortable in myself and that led to me being more outgoing in life. But even as a bald guy I still managed to get by without thinking of myself as a pariah. I knew the problem was my insecurity not other peoples prejudice.

So theres your answer - (waits for HPM to bring the subject of my hair transplant's up again in about 3 days time). :jackit:

Yes, this planet is filled with morons.
I'm not saying everyone but there are many who try and separate themselves from baldies because they do regard us as inferior- more morons for ya. Just because I acknowledge the prejudice doesn't mean I agree with it. I wish people wouldn't give a sh*t and just mind their own business but that has not been my experience SAF.

Well I really cant understand how you face such a higher degree of prejudice than I do/did.
Its funny because the 5hit that I used to get there are guys I know in my same social circle who are NW3/4/5 and they never get any negative comments.
And everyone one here acknowledges you as one of the few guys who can pull off the bald look really well.
But think about it you're in your mid 30's now do you still think people will be ripping on you for being bald in your 40's/50's/60's?

In that article about ugly brits, they said something to the effect of, "people are much more image, health, beauty conscious in the US than UK." And I live in California which is even worse. So maybe it is a geography issue, plus everyone says there are more bald guys on average over there hence more common, hence more accepted.... possibly :dunno: . Americans are so f*****g brainwashed anyway. But I reckon the negative attention will taper off as I get older.

I think Britain on the whole is just as superficial as any average American state. Cosmetic procedures are constantly on the increase especially for women. Most hair hair extensions and fake tans/nails.
Having been to California I did'nt really notice too much difference. Even on venice/santa monica beach the people were'nt above averagely attractive.
It was'nt like an episode of 90210 there were plenty of middle aged unnatractive people around.

Now Vegas that was a different matter!!

I reckon thats got to make a huge difference actually. Consider your environment, you live in one of the most affluent and glamorous locations in the richest country in the world. You live in an area that is densly saturated with an almost unrivalled premium upon image. We are a competitive species and you live in a country founded upon the most lassiaz faire approach to competitive capital economics, you essentially live in the earths zenith for a competitive, aspirational, image obsessed environment, its the hidden hand that is driving the whole system and its there every second you live. That is a heavily pressurised environment.

I can guarantee you that if you were over here in the UK you would notice that you would be in a much less competitive environment though we are trying to catch you up as saf points out. However you would have different issues, this country is sh*t! You would still encounter ignorance and prejudice, its just that it would be less glamorous and in a way thats even more soul destroying! Its got to be difficult to find some consolation in life as some builder with his arse hanging out of his jeans yells slaphead at you on a grey miserable tuesday morning as you slink off to your desk at your office (or post round ala seb). Thats a whole different kind of existential crises. At the very least you can occasionally console yourself with the natural beauty of your surroundings, here you would have to find consolation with shopping centres, spud-u-likes and grey skies!

There's no such thing "more" it's the same all over the western world, only in the third world in vilages and such that are disconnected from the world they don't care

Sorry dude but thats just absolute nonsense. The world is not either/or, black/white, wrong/right. It is many shades of uncertainty, the pressures in hollywood are higher than they are in my local pub.

very true

if we were balding in russia its like "who cares"

my point is simply that the environmental pressures are different everywhere. Theres not a line you cross and suddenly no one cares. There are places where it is heightened and places where the premium on appearence is lower

So you do believe that it is worse in some places than others?

Im not saying you dont get grief wherever you go, but in certain places a large part of the economy is either funded directly by mediums which depend on cosmetics such as films, t.v studios etc, in those situations without wanting to sound too detached, youre part of a labour market which is driven largely by aesthetic considerations. A large part of your commodity value within the local community is based upon your appearence. Whilst there are societal pressures everywhere they are different in other places.

Yes those pressures are everywhere in the western world but they trickle down from places like hollywood. This is where the bar is set. This is where the images that are beamed into our front rooms, our cinemas, originate from. All other countries medias are immitators which aspire to that level. They didnt get to be the most 'glamourous' place without some serious omnipresent societal competition going on!!

I personally dont like the UK, I very much want to emigrate but it is mainly due to the weather, location and the way of life.

If Im being honest i dont really have an opinion about women here sorry bud. I dont see how you quantify it? Who is to say what is attractive? What are the rules? Im attracted to plenty of women who would never get near a magazine shoot, does that mean they are not attractive? Do you see my point, to me at least, generalisations like this are completely abstract

I suppose the problem is that evaluating people in that way is so contrary to the way i see the world that i cant even see how its possible to even comprehend the scope of how innane it is!

I can say this, i have seen some big tits here. That i can report. When I touched them, they jiggle to a standard i deemed satisfactory. What % of women display a satisfactory jiggle? Difficult to say, there are to many variables. What is satisfactory? Define jiggle. Define large boob without descending into some sort of booby relativism

Ultimately we must ask, who is the arbiter of requisit tit jiggle in the UK? Take me to them post haste, i have some tit bureacracy i need to process, some new feedback. If not them i need to take it to the person who works in tit admin who can process the latest stats to get the info out to the baying masses...

Inputting into the tit jiggle computer ...processing...processing....processing....

WE ARE GLAD TO REPORT A SATISFACTORY LEVEL OF TIT JIGGLE IN THE UK AS OPPOSED TO THE LATEST U.S DATA!!

Hurrah validatory feedback! We make the grade!!. MUMMYS AND DADDYS OF THE UK CAN YOU SEE ME NOW TUCKING INTO THE FRUIT OF YOUR COMBINED LOINS!

Do you see what im sayin? This is a foreign concept to me. What does it matter? There are women here and i be banging them. What more do you need?!

dam MIS the UK sounds like a depressing place . . . crap weather, grey mornings, no wonder radiohead hails from there lol

wat do u think of that "ugly" thing?

Theres no way that you can say what is universally attractive.
I'm pretty sure that most caucasian women prefer caucasian men whatever part of europe they're from to asians or African ect.

Just as most african women would'nt find any oriental men attractive.

There are more UK men and women making it big in Hollywood than any other non U.S country.

They UK is'nt so bad its just like the U.S but smaller and with crap weather most of the time.
Its funny that about 80% of the planet seems to want to come here.

And as for the c0ck size thing it stands to reason that the smaller a race is physically the more likely they are to be smaller in the trouser dept.
I'd bet that the average 6'2" guy has at least an extra inch over the average 5'6" guy.
