It all depends on the individual.

Have you ever seen yourself with a full on bald head?

It can look good on maybe 20% of the population.

If I went full on bald I will keep my beard and razor my hair off (this look works for me but its not my first choice)

I have never seen myself bald . actually I have always worn my hair medium length to cover up my weird head shape, I guess you could say its part of my identity? honestly if I could pull off the bald look, I wouldn't mind as much but I think I would go from being a 6/10 face to a 2/10 face. I am short, skinny and pale. my head is also kind of large and weird shaped. I also don't have a very defined jawline or anything.

edit: I think im one of those people who looks decent with hair but terrible without it. mainly because if you aren't masculine handsome you can be okayish looking if you have a boyish face but the hair is a must

When I explain this to my friends, they tell me I'm full of sh*t, that so many women cannot possibly be balding.

"All women have great hair, just look around you! Baldness is a man's problem!"

Yeah sure, because all the half-bald women would surely get out on the streets without a care in the world.

When you're a woman, you can't be heavily balding or even just thinning, you just can't.

Traveling is a nightmare. A lot of these guys will pre-trip additional wigs, and struggle to figure out how to bring adhesives abroad as they are considered flammable material, and are not allowed on flights. When I used to wear I would frequent NWL forums, and you would see threads about guys panicking over how they are going to travel without there partner noticing. of course they became hat prisoners during the whole endeavor. It's not logical to think extreme heat, moisture, and the rays of the sun would not run havoc on the system.

Another problem is, once you wig it up.. that's how people will identify and recognize you by. It leads up to the point where you have no choice but to keep up the image that everyone know you by. It becomes psychological warfare where you want to let it go, despite wanting to get rid of it.

I think we can agree maybe that even if they were socially acceptable for men to wear as women MOST men even with hair loss would not feel comfortable and it would not fit their lifestyle.

It's an option but women would still pay top dollar to have natural hair back over a wig.
Same as men.

I mean my Mother loves her wigs now but it took her a long time to mentally adjust and feel comfortable..Shes very shy my Mother and does not like to be center of attention so for her it was an adjustment period to be accepted.
And she was because shes in her 70s..and the wig took 10 years off her face...so she wound up happy.
But my Mother is again in her 70s shes not working out shes not out having sex and dating.
She takes pride in her appearance but she was just happy to have something to look presentable to public etc.
But even she would be happy to get her hair back--NOT for anyone else but herself. She would probably still wear her wigs because at her age just easier to not style hair etc...BUT no one wants to see themselves in a mirror with no hair even at home by yourself.
Also she often complains that they are hot in Summer time.

As I mentioned, if I were to strain all my options and have no other choice, then a hair piece would be the only viable solution to being partially sane.

Being bald is much worse then wearing a hair piece.

It takes a certain mind set, and mental fortitude to be able to endure the bald head without feeling depressed every day. Most of these men that shave, and embrace tend to always have partners for one, and families. The transition is much easier over time, then someone who's slick in there twenties.

Being poor, and balding is the worst situation to be in. I am very fortunate to be in the position where I am in, being able to afford a transplant when ever. I have went ahead, and scheduled to have an additional 3000 fue in February 2017... I had enough of this bullshit. When you have fair/fine hair, everything becomes much harder. typically one transplant for my type of hair loss is not enough. only so many grafts can be placed densely without compromising the others. Thats why additional work is needed to fill in the spaces.

Such is life when you have a fine caliber of hair :D

Are you going to Rahal again?
No, he keeps telling me eventually we will have to address the following areas when it becomes much worse cosmetically.

I dont have time to wait.
I need hair now.

A dude managed to do Koh Lanta (the survivor) with it.
of course there are ways. I am not interested in basing every activity I approach over the security of my hair.

Who cares about hair, when you cannot even live your life according to how you want to live it.

Everything revolves around the toupee.

these people always have there toupee on there mind every where they go. there will never be a minute where you dont have it on your mind int he accompany of others. It becomes your identity, and everything you approach is based on the safety of the wiiig. Wig becomes you, and swallows everything in its path.

my as well walk around with a toupee on our faces. it's out identity, worth and value.

Without toupee = nothing. Playing with c***, pornhub, and a kleenex near by

id still rather have hair than being good in football haha

I wasn't too serious about that LOL. Just saw that fact and posted it :p

Ranieri is bald enough and he won it with Leicester.

Nobody gives a sh*t. Why else is the cure not here yet?

But they do. hair transplant surgeons who make lots of money spreading density around. They give a sh*t.

And their sh*t is gold. Depends on how many grafts they have.

Unfortunately, you're right. Baldness will never be cured.

Hair transplant surgeons don't care, they've got a half-measure solution that makes them a ton of money. They're interested in keeping the industry stagnant.. otherwise, they'll be out of jobs.

And I never said there will never be a cure. There definitely will.

Definitely true for Burt Reynolds. He got lots of pussy with his toupee.

The funny thing about it is, the women knew he was wearing a wig.

He even fucked Loni Anderson! Doesn't get much better than that (Halle Berry, but I'm in the
fantasy zone...).

As I mentioned toupee is only a viable option when you exert all others, and are left with nothing.

Toupee is better then being bald

Toupee is not an option if you are medicating, and under a NW5.

A HUGE movie star in his day

Hard to compare to average every day man

both lifestyle and finances.

Also actors are sometime 'forced' to wear wigs or start to wear wigs for work so they get used to it.

then (at least in past) had to wear them all the time to keep continuity with public.

Now i think its much more acceptable to wear a piece for a film and then wear none on red carpets.

But few do this so openly.

It seems that only the turkish surgeons are willing to go more aggressively with both adding density, and lowering the hairline. Rahal is to conservative in his hairline approach, all though he does create world class hair lines. He won't go lower in regards to my disposition of being a NW6-7. I can live with a semi thin crown, if it ever comes down to that. However, I want a thick, and dense hair line.

I aint going to have a FUT again either. it's going to cost me a 1,000CAD just to fix this. Considering they have to flatten certain areas where keloid scar developed. SMP was rejected, skin doesn't absorb it well.

Dr Ekrim Civas in turkey 3000 grafts he quoted me. Flight, and 10% deposit all paid out.

Ride or die. I need hair now.

maaaate why are you going to Civas with your salary

Erdogan for hairline work surely?
Keser is also pretty good and doesn't give a f*** about donor reserves/being aggressive. Loves dense packing the sh*t out of NW2s

I dont want to wait 6 months - 1 year for surgery.

Civas is 2 month from now. I will message around, see what the waiting times are.

North American surgeons are to conservative, they wont give you a lower hairline. All I want is half an inch lower.

Congrats and best of luck, sure it will be fine. You're one of the few people on here who takes action when a problem happens and makes maximum use of that donor. Time is precious and having good hair, there is a time limit whether we like it or not. Having it in your 20s and 30s is priceless. Your hair is good already but I can see what you're going to do. Kudos on not making excuses like "I need to wait for a treatment in 5 years" "I must save donor and take it with me to my grave" "I'm too scared to shave my head" "I have enough hair right now, I'm judged on my personality, why bother." All copes. If someone has a rational problem which has a rational solution, never hesitate. The gut feeling is always right.

Will you lower hairline and implant in mid scalp maybe?

If I ever for some reason couldn't binge on finasteride and transplants and went badly thin, I would wear a piece and make it work, like you. It's the only way for me to get through the day, looks matter. Looking diseased, crap, weak is not an option, especially 20-40.

Theres no point. We have so many years ahead of us to make money, and do the activities we love. However hair is now, not later. It can go with the wind before we even know it. Cars, houses, and toys do not make me feel better about my situation.

When you have hair, and feel good about yourself, everything else just comes together.

Hair is such a sacred entity to our happiness, and It's worth investing in.

3000 across the front, mid, hairline and temporal area. Possibly have the crown addressed with 250-500 grafts

Half an inch lower on the hairline. Happy with the design, just want it a little lower.
