I did my first application two days ago, 20mg on my entire scalp. Nothing to report so far because it's too early. I did notice scalp pain but I'm not sure if it was from SAG or the heavy wounding. Probably the wounding though.This is by far the most exciting thread in here. Two people reporting regrowth on slick bald places.
Any updates?
@Photon when u gonna join?
Pain is temporary, victory is foreverI did my first application two days ago, 20mg on my entire scalp. Nothing to report so far because it's too early. I did notice scalp pain but I'm not sure if it was from SAG or the heavy wounding. Probably the wounding though.
My hairline is starting to look pretty good, and the crown is filling in more. I'd say my hair is better than it's been since 2016.
Third application yesterday. 40 minutes wounding the Follica way then SAG 2 hours later then PGE2 at night.
Are you guys taking into consideration the so-called embryonic window? In Follica's investor slides, the application of their enhancer drug is not administered concurrently with the wounding - it seems to be about 10-14 days post-wounding. I haven't looked too closely at Follica's latest patent/protocol, so maybe this is no longer a consideration, but the embryonic window was a prominent part of Cotsarelis' WIHN research.
Also, applying a chemical so close to wounding may allow significantly more of the chemical to be absorbed systemically.
The window depends on the compound. Wnts are needed early on by day 3, Shh is not until later. It takes 5 days for Shh expression to peak after application, and 10+ days for GLI2. Shh likely remains elevated for weeks. I think the latest information from Follica has options ranging from applying the shh agonist at the same time as wounding up to 3 days post wounding.

Dutasteride is similar to Finasteride for me.Only RU but together with other.
RU by itself loses effectiveness over the months
Yes, i tried with Darolutamide, but I need to use more than 20mg to notice something... and is expensive
I will try with Wnt inhibitors,but its need find reliable sources
Thanks for checking. Waiting for my parcel to get delivered then will resume treatment.Guys, how is the trial going? Any regrowth?
@pegasus2 - I don't disagree with your comments. My point in posting about them, was that they (Clob & Hal) do act as Smo agonists, they do displace BODIPY-Cyclopamine. Certainly not to the degree that SAG does, but, about 20-25%. That may be enough with the help of minoxidil, needling, tretinoin (to mitigate the skin atrophy from glucocorticoids). The combo may activate Hh just enough, over a period of time, to initiate hair growth. The only citation I could find using the combo triamcinolone acetonide after micro needling was in a patient with Alopecia areata, and, it did initiate regrowth of hair after 2 sessions. TA has been shown to bind to Smo & enhance Hh signaling. Even though the "small molecule" Class glucocorticoids have been shown to activate Hh, I don't think it is enough by themselves to trigger hair growth. What they do have is a history of use in humans & a safety profile. The combo (Hal / minoxidil / Needling / Tretinoin) might be enough to over-come the remaining inhibitors at play. Taking into consideration of course, the feedback loop of Hh ... too much stimulation triggers shut-down. How much is too much? .. not enough data yet. Once a week session might be right ... once a month session might be right. I am starting this protocol currently @ once a week. I will update if there are positive / negative changes.
@John Difool - Yes. I'm not sure if I mentioned that I have both alopecia areata & androgenetic alopecia. The spot area where the alopecia areata is located, is filling in very well. The areas of male pattern baldness are definitely getting stronger terminal hairs, that were already there. They used to be very fine. I've been on this protocol for 2+ mnths now. I am using Dr. Pen, minoxidil foam, Clobetasol cream .05%, tretinoin gel .05%, a diy mixture of (polygonum multiforum / rosemary oil / peppermint oil / red clover / korean red ginseng). I do the needling 1x per week. I use all the topicals 2x day except the clobetasol. I use that every other day. I think the needling, clobetasol / minoxidil / tretinoin are the main ingredients that are triggering hair growth. The tretinoin offsets the bad effect of clobetasol. So far, no sides except hair growth. I will keep updating in another 2 months. I didn't take any pics before or now.
Congrats on the new gf!
Are you back to weekly wounding at 1.5mm depth? That's what I am contemplating doing.
