Not having a partner for a long time sucks. Makes you feel dead inside. It's not all about sex but doing things like going to concerts, traveling, feels empty without a lover to share those special moments with.

Sex can be done with an escort or f*** buddy worse comes worse, it's just a moment but doesn't replace real intimacy and moments as a couple. So I do understand his pain there. TBH I take my girl everywhere (even with the lads at the bar unless it really is lad time) and it's just better, we all get along well. Travelling, concerts and restaurants are really what you miss when single - it's just different with a lover.

So much pontificating for a guy who is single by choice. You know it. You could be not single within a week if you wanted to. A bald guy could go 10 years and not do that.


As for concerts, events, traveling etc. I am used to doing these alone and enjoy it. I go alone to movies, shows, sports and once or twice a restaurant. Usually, my friends aren't interested in a lot of these things or don't want to pay high ticket prices. If I weren't single, I'd still go alone but at least I'd have somebody to talk about these things with. I'm bald though so that's just a hypothetical thought.

Anybody can be trained to cold approach. I was doing it a few weeks back. It doesn't make me ballsy. Cold approach didn't work for you and it definitely doesn't work for bald guys. Your brother must be a special case because I haven't seen another example like that.

Just taking the opportunity to rant here a bit...

Today I cold approached a girl and didn't even introduce myself, jesus! It's been a while since I did something like that. My last and first relationship lasted for 5 years so after that I didn't have many chances to approach girls, nor was I interested. But then there's this cute girl who passes by my house each day on the lunch time, so I went to the grocery store on my neighborhood to see if I could bump into her and I did lol. I stopped her with a 'hey' and asked her name, then her age. After that I gave her my number that was written on a paper, and said 'Hope you text me' then left. W - T - F ! Only after I got home I realized how stupid it was and that I forgot to tell her my f*****g name. Jesus, I'm dying with embarrassment inside. So far she hasn't texted anything and to be honest I hope she doesn't, it was too much cringe for a day, yikes.

I didn't see her from afar when I was walking in the street because I usually walk looking down lol anyway, she stopped me and said ~Hey sorry for not contacting you yet! I've been quite busy lately. I'm (name), nice to meet you ~ then I told her it was fine, apologized for my awkward approach and finally introduced myself. Well, maybe I still have hope! She's really cute and well mannered, I'm really interested in knowing her. Who knows what might come out from this? Not trying to be over positive, but this event made my week to be honest
