I've read the warnings that pregnant women should avoid finasteride, etc. But, has that really been proven to be the case? I know ethically we can't test on humans, so how do we know that reduced DHT, which is not the same as no DHT, will have a major effect in the developing fetus???

No, like you pointed out, it hasn't actually been tested on pregnant humans, although it's been tested on other pregnant animals (possibly primates, although I'm not sure about that). I'm pretty sure it's been tested on pregnant rats. But do you think they'd EVER take a chance on a human test? :)

BTW, finasteride users actually have a bit lower average blood DHT levels than the pseudohermaphrodites.

Bryan, what do you think of hydrochortisone as a possible treatment, and what do you say about this "red maca" thing I just found? (http://www.hairlosshelp.com/forums/mess ... adid=84749)

Oh yeah, and about the tamoxifen. Let's say, I'll start a finasteride combo along with Tamoxifen as a 20 year old. What if I stop the medication after some years? I just can't believe hormones will simply come back to normal

hope you'll find time to answer this.
