Notcool, did you buy the original HAirmax comb or a different brand? $150 is quite a good price

how often a day do you use it?

I bought the device from the salesman that got banned from this site. It was a panel system. I used it 20 minutes every day.

You clearly didn't read the text around the numbers you were posting. Some of them advertise as "hair regrowth systems" which consist of a) an expensive laser and b) minoxidil. How surprising - guess which of the two is doing the work. Others dont use any clinical assessment but subjective customer "benefit". Others again count everything including vellus hair, which is completely useless. The first of your links doesn't even specify what kind of success customers allegedly had - they only say "success rate".

The only useful study is "Efficacy and Safety of a Low-level Laser Device in the Treatment of Male and Female Pattern Hair Loss". The majority of the rest is unfounded, unscientific marketing bogus. Have a look at the study's self-assessment data. Almost 50% of participants in the placebo groups report improvement. Really shows how much self-assessment can be trusted.

Minoxidil remains the only topical medication approved to stimulate follicle hair growth. Under various brand names, Minoxidil is available ‘over the counter’ in 2% and 5% strengths. However these commercial preparations are known to be poorly absorbed and the 30%-50% basic propylene glycol additive is the predominant cause of scalp irritation. So how many steps forward and how many backwards?

Any laser talk should be banned from the forum. This is ridiculous. Might as well wear a tinfoil hat.

So you don't think it works for anybody? It hasn't done much for me.

I'm around 2 months in now.
the first 2 weeks I experienced thicker hair then around week 3 I began a mild shedding phase which has more or less slowed down as I type this. I've also added a couple of more things to my regimen the last week that may have triggered as cosmetic effect but overall, my hair is better than prior to starting laser. No regrowth as such at this stage but gradual snail pace improvement . After reading many laser reviews on other forums, it may seem to be an over kill by using it too often as in daily, so now I use it every other day for around 20 mins.
will persist further and see what the weeks ahead brings?

It doesn't do sh!t except extract money from your wallet and fill those of the scam artists that invented this ridiculous device for hair loss.

which laser did you buy Azuri? and how much did it cost?

I purchased my unit on ebay for $120. I won't name it but it has "28" lasers.

Maybe true?
But it all depends on what stage of hairloss a person is... If a person is beyond Norwood 3 then anything other than the big 3 would be a waste of time. Lasers would be ideal for anyone who still sports a hair (not buzzed) and wants to improve existing hair. It won't grow new hair on bald spots.

why do you buy 28 diodes for $120 when you can buy twice as many for the same price

Good you didn't name it....I finally understand a simple fact that nobody understands what LLLT is.. Some people just can't be helped..

More lasers isn't really important to me at this stage.
besides, there are reports of people showing results with a lot less lasers.

Question for Notcoolanymore

Hi, I'm new to the forum and saw you on the "RebuildYourHairProgrm " thread. I'm just starting to explore this website and I was interested in alternative solutions. I clicked on your name and saw some other threads where you had posted. I've read this LLLT thread and the "violet ray" thread and had a few questions for you since you've been around a while in this forum.

What happened to that "losing hair" member? Was he banned from this site? I was trying to follow what he was saying and apparently he was trying to recommend some sort of laser unit with the most laser diodes. Did anyone figure out which one he was recommending? Did he provide any before and after pics of his own results? (cause I thought he said he himself went to a clinic that had a laser unit rather than using a portable unit like he was describing from eBay) If he did post pics, how would I find them?

in the "violet ray" thread, what happened to the Youcandoit member? Was he banned from the forum? I just noticed there was a lot of unnecessary drama in that thread. The guy was saying something about getting good results, I was just wondering why everyone didn't just get straight to the point and ask for before and after pics of his results? Or did he post them somewhere and I just don't know about where to find it? There also seemed to be a discrepancy about what type of unit he was using. He mentioned something about getting a $300 unit but everyone was pointing to a link on eBay where you could buy a $30 unit but it may have not been the same thing. Anyways, if he did post pics and you have any idea where they are on this site or how I'd look for them, let me know, and I would also be open to any other thoughts you have on these two threads and on the Violet Ray or LLLT devices, thanks

So what's that a video of? Hair Transplant? Wig?

It's a combination of vitamins, NoFap and ayurvedic medicine. The ultimate in fighting hair loss.

Nah, its some guy who also happens to be the CEO of Theradome. Claims he got his results from theradome and nizoral only.
