I agree, it's a better advice than "just work out", or "putting make-up on a pig" as I say, or "polishing a turd" as you eloquently say :p.

Nothing beats useful knowledge, and reward for having that knowledge. Money can also buy you high-end Lewis Hamilton-like hair transplants.

It's more realistic. Be another baldie going on a romance tour with high spending power.

I would avoid the European countries. These women are smart, worth with most agencies and will exploit these men fr gifts, dinners and leave them hanging. Need to be realistic, even if you hold the power. Women know their value.. and genetics are everything despite the strategies one might have. These women know they hold an upper end and have what you desire. Not only that but they know these men are desperate and will use that to their advantage

Ironically enough last night my roommate and I were discussing work, travel and finding women. He distinctively mentioned a short, balding man from his workplace is recently on his second foreign marriage with a women he met some where in the Philippines. Seems to be a trend for a lot of divorced men or those with not desirable traits. Purchasing power at its finest.

i agree strongly there wolf lol. i think being sensitive and male is one of the worst things there is. makes me mad when feminists say "i'm tired of acting weak when i am strong!". well obviously its a hell of a lot harder (and arguably impossible) to do the inverse, that is pretend to be strong when you are weak
Screw girls and them feminists. I always tried being the "nice guy." You know what happens, girls walk all over you.
Just recently, a girl told me she really liked me. I ended up falling for her, and then she sleeps with 4 dudes in the past week. Girls can be straight up b******, which is why you never develop a close relationship with them unless she might be "the one." Other than that, just use them for sex, because they will do the same thing. I called that girl a wh*** repeatedly, and now I got nothing to do with her. If she comes back, I'll probably just f*** her and leave her again.. Seriously, girls love to play with a dude's emotions, thats why you cant let emotions get the best of you.

I'm starting to wonder if someone has hacked into Fred's account because this sounds like a completely different person speaking. It's like he did a 180 almost overnight. I actually find it quite creepy. What about all the stories you told Fred, about how people treated you because of your baldness? What about the overwhelming depression? And now all of a sudden you believe people don't notice, and that being bald isn't that bad? Come on!"

Fred better be a different person if he spent thousands of dollars on his transplant, plus the medications used in the past to combat hair loss.
It's called looking at the situation, and doing something about it. You should learn.

Btw, congrats on the transplant Fred. I'm thinking about a transplant in the near future, so seeing your results, and others really puts me at ease that I dont have to go through this for much longer. There is a solution, therefore there is hope.

Oh sorry EvilLocks! That must be 100x harder on you. But there is still hope, as Fred mentioned...

No worries. Yeah, it's incredibly hard. If I could have a hair transplant I would, but my loss is too diffuse for that. Like fred said the only "hope" for me is a wig, and I wouldn't even call that hope really, more like resigning.

I can't remember many of my bald teachers, mind you most had a hair style now I think of it which masks attention. One was quite bald and of course everyone knew. But that's it, no mocking at all, even from school kids. Unless they were angry at him, that's when any issue is picked up on. Not just lack of hair.

Subconsciously women will notice it at the very least if not overtly, especially if it's a guy they are thinking about. Otherwise people are too self absorbed to care. Baldness = not loser but invisible clone more than likely.

If you didn't notice all the hair missing on your teacher you must have had your eyes down on the desk all the time. You did say you didn't like wearing your glasses, maybe you didn't see :) Or you're very studious :)
if you are young and bald it does the opposite though-make you much more conspicuous. i mean you are the only guy your age who is bald

i made a thread a few months back about going to a college campus and literally being the only bald guy there. **** sucked but if anything i was the opposite of "invisible clone".

I work as a IT contractor and started at a new place, a girl was showing me round the place, and she said "You will be working with David, do you know David, it's that bald guy over there" pointing to a young guy who was NW7 in his mid 20's with shaved head. I was thinking **** sake, she was overweight, imagine I said to her "Do you know Sandra? its that ****ing whale over there"

But still, nobody would say "you know, that fat girl/guy over there!", so why is it okay to say bald?

I dont know its just how you look at it, its no different then like your example about the blonde guy, how is it any different then lets say everyone is blonde and there is one brown haired guy and she goes "you know john, the brown haired guy over there the only one basically lol". Some probably do go "the fat guy/girl over there" not in a horrible way, just to give you more of a description. Not like she went "that bald twat over there" or "that fat ugly freak over there" its just a description, i done it when looking for a bald guy myself.

Yeah, you have a point there. Still, I think people could be more careful with their words when it comes to being bald. It's not fun to be labeled as bald.

I see where you are coming from, but she works with him, maybe she knows he is ok with it i dont know, all i know is i have done it im sure you have maybe, not in a horrible way just to describe someone, just depends on the guy, if someone was describing me to someone and said "yeah Danny is over there, the bald guy" i be fine with it cause its what i am, bald, i dont hate the look, but someone who hates the look might think otherwise i guess.

I suppose maybe bald is like saying that guy with the beard or gray hair, it's not seen as an insult, maybe being bald is ok after all. All of this is just a lie from big pharam to sell their drugs!!!!!

They'll never say that. I see where you are coming from, but anything weight-related is completely off-limits.

Thats what society has done. Movement against fat jokes, and it has worked.

Whats unfair are the kids getting bullied because of their weight. In the case, their weight is uncontrollable by them. The parents are to blame.

My wife has told me that she doesn't like when I buzz my hair. So for the last year i've been growing it out and it's pretty long, but it looks iffy with my receding hairline. I'm on the border of giving up or getting a hair transplant, if it would even help.
