From your photos, it looks like you still have decent scalp coverage. It's funny how we'd settle for "just enough" hair to get by as our hair loss progresses--at least that's how I feel. I feel that way about my son too. If he takes after my late father, he'll always have some coverage, sparse as it will be. His temples are pretty far back, though. I will contribute to your GoFundMe account as soon as you set it up. You're like a pitbull with finding a cure, and I appreciate that.

I'm writing up a thread for that right now, will open up the funding shortly... there's lots to cover.

Well I definitely don't need any further convincing of how baldness has impacted your need for a dominant self-image. My point wasn't simply to annoy you, it was the point you keep side-stepping, you can't defend saying it's justified to feel our parents made a mistake having us because we ended up bald.

Instead you're still focussing on less relevant parts of what I wrote like how butt-hurt you are over being called high, so I thought I'd keep this post short and sweet to stop you wandering off in other directions that deviate conveniently away from my main point.

I have no idea what you are actually trying to say. You are not making sense at all. Make ONE point and Ill rebut it. You have zero communication skills and honestly seem to ignore 99% of everything and then just say "oh youre a doo doo head" and stick out your tongue. I dont care if you call me "high", because that shows you have zero points to make and instead think trying to insult someones point is making one.

I dont have to justify anything to you, thats the great thing about this, you are convoluted and insane so justifying ANYTHING to YOU is about as high on my list of schits to give as cutting my toe off with a kitchen knife.

When you can make sense stop back and we can try this again.

Moments later...

So you can rebut any point I make, except when the one I've made like 3 ****ing times doesn't suit you, it turns into how you don't have to justify anything to the likes of me.

I'll tell you one thing, I'm looking at my future wife's father in determining that lol.

My father has a perfect head of hair into his 50's. Flawless.

My mom's dad has been hella bald since his late 20's.

Guess whose genes I got?

What kind of idiot says they can literally rebut ANY point anyway? So you can prove that absolutely anything is false? Unless we're talking philosophically that is completely impossible.

so you have a hard time discerning words? You ask a question then answer it yourself. Do you just like listening to yourself making nonsense?

I know what you mean username425, it's a really dreadful feeling if you keep thinking about it. Baldness runs heavily on both sides of my family, so I'm not surprised I inherited it. In my case though, it's a hard thing to deal with when all the cousins on both sides of my family who are around the same age as I am have perfect hair with no Androgenic Alopecia, and no graying hairs either which I'm also going through.

The main things that I find so dreadful about baldness is:

1. There's no cure for it.
2. You're stuck with it.
3. It's completely out of anyone's control who is going through it and not their fault in any way.
4. There's absolutely nothing that can be done about it other than using proven treatments and hair transplants.
5. Hardly anyone ever sympathizes for the one suffering from baldness, and are expected to get over it.

There's a ton more to what I listed, but going through those five things itself is already enough to outright upset anyone dealing with the condition. Hair loss will put anyone down when it has the chance to do so.

I really don't have many male relatives to point to. I don't have any hereditary uncles, and both of my brothers who are younger than me just have different hair. They are thin, but show no signs of recession. My hair is really starting to look like my NW6 grandfather's.

And yeah. After these past few months these points really ring out the most. Especially as a younger guy. There's nothing in my life I felt I couldn't conquer or change in it, and my confidence has really taken a big hit because of it. It's really nothing you think about until you actually start to go through it yourself.

#5 really rings out the most. I'm really hoping that millennials like us, guys who grew up in the free information age, the reddit age, etc - can band through and break through the cracks to find a way to reverse it.

The thing that everyone wants to talk about is how there's only been two proven treatments since the 80s, but that's because no one cared besides the guys that were going through it and using the medications. The collaborative science has been the only real thing to give hope if you aren't a good responder to the proven medications.

The uncles on both sides of my family have male pattern baldness, but it's not very aggressive and their hair has has slowly been thinning out for years. It's definitely hard for any younger man who's going through baldness, I myself am one of them, and so are you. I've got other issues I'm coping with, but baldness is definitely my crux in life.

Hair loss is perhaps one of the perfect examples which proves itself that it's one of those things absolutely nobody cares about unless if it were to happen to them. The best solution for hair loss is a cure for it, and only science will be able to do that. The reason why the two treatments, Finasteride and Minoxidil, are often talked about so much is because that's basically the best we've got right currently. I've been fortunate enough that treatments work well for me, though it's still no cure. Also treatment options is not for everyone, so again, the best solution for hair loss is a cure for it.

so you have a hard time discerning words? You ask a question then answer it yourself. Do you just like listening to yourself making nonsense?

You don't know how to use the word discerning. Discerning is a describing word (adjective), not a doing word (verb), there's no such thing as discerning words, you can discern them. I hate to be a grammar nazi but the irony is just right there when you write about making nonsense.

But anyway, you can't literally rebut ANY point, if you want to prove me wrong, rebut this: "The sky is sometimes blue". The only way you can rebut what is a reputed fact is by getting philosophical (but **** would I love to see your brain try that!) so when I say you make no sense, I at least explain why, when you say I make no sense, that's it. It's just a cheap meaningless pop that only a guy who uses the word "cuh" un-ironically would appreciate.

And you completely ignored my first post which exposes how much of a tool you are, you are happy to ask me to challenge you to a rebuttal and when I do give my point you then tell me you don't need to justify anything to me. There's another point you can't rebut, you'll probably just start whining again about how I called you high 10 pages back.

I believe "discerning" is used as a verb here:
