Well I got my dad and my mums pattern so I got fucked from every angle.

Hey Georgie do you think your hair is coming back in the same pattern you lost it? The back thickening up first, then the sides and eventually in like 6 more months a positive difference on the top? It would kinda make sense for it to work that way because the sides and the back are usually the strongest. From what you described I think we have the same pattern only I’m a guy. I wish I could just bald like a normal dude. It’s even worse because both my parents had super ridiculous thick hair when they were my age.

I don’t think so honestly. When my hair improves, it’s always the temples and hairline first.

I'll definitely bring it up to my sister. Sorry to hear it's not gotten better or stabilized for you. I truly believe hormone balance plays a big part but where that balance lies is different for everyone.

Did your parents bald early? My mum seemed to have thinning hair but norwood 1 before she passed away, but I've no idea when. My dad still had a a thick norwood 2 at 60, which all the boys appear to be taking after, except I've receded more than my brothers.
My dad starting losing around the age I did - 20. Mum only started losing hair after menopause, which makes sense because I went through menopause at 20 too. So I got hit hard. Dads Androgenetic Alopecia pattern plus mums menopause body hair loss.

Yikes! Forgive my ignorance but is it possible recover from early menopause(I.E., stop it from progressing) or is it just a lifelong hormone therapy for treatment?

I think my sister might have perimenopause. I recall a few times she mentioned she missed her menstrual cycle. She doesn't tell me and I don't ask, just overheard when she was talking to my other sister!
