OP isn’t using AA alone. In most cases you would need estradiol to replicate his result.

Talk about a crab in a bucket. Regrowing Norwoods at all is a huge achievement, and bridge regrew almost all of his hair. Definitely NW1.5 now.

I wouldn't say it's only marginally better than finasteride 1mg since it's considerably better than finasteride 5mg. It seems like the optimal amount to take for dutasteride would be 0.5mg. Considering it's long half life I think you could get away with once a week in conjunction with finasteride to cut costs, probably most ideal would be twice weekly. The real question would be how much of a benefit this would actually bring about in the absence of something like minoxidil.

For the last 1.5 months I am also on spironolactone. I upped my dose from 100 mg to 400 mg. I am on dutasteride 2.5 mg daily for the last two year. For one year it worked great then I started to loose ground hence moved to spironolactone.
@bridgeburn i am 25years old from india . can you please tell regime for regrowth with less side effects

Did that regrow anything in the temples and forelock or just improve general density?
i have been on minoxdil 5 percent and finasteride 1mg but no results i am vexed.my male pattern baldness is horse shoe shape due to 10years of fapping

What I have realised is that, people who are destined to advanced balding pattern generally respond very badly to finasteride or dutasteride. But same can’t be said for HRT. Look at the @bridgeburn , he had advanced balding pattern prior to HRT.

I did search Cypro in my country , but I think it is not available in India.
I am also thinning in Norwood 6 pattern. Perhaps this is the reason medicines are not working anymore for both of us.

Ya I think it's T more than DHT that chews on our hairline, cypro and E needed for that section. Stuff like Rogaine is known to work in the crown but not hairline.

My vertex is thinning very rapidly. Soon I will develope a bald spot there. Topical minoxidil isn’t working for me even for the crown area.

I've found 10mg oral minoxidil x3 week quite effective, but that's with other things. In general orals trump topicals from what I've seen and heard.
