What if you cut the dose to 12.5MG/day? There is also bicalutamide or spironolactone.

Bicalutamide also have this side effect.

Do you think that cutting the dose will help or maybe reducing the use of per day will help?

There is need to take cpa every day or its the same if i take it in another option for this specific drug??

spironolactone also messed up @Georgie

spironolactone doesn't lower T much, if even at all.. It doesn't have any direct antigonodotrophin effect, It might slightly lower it (although doesn't happen for everyone) because the blocked receptors lead to an increase in T in the bloodstream which aromatases in the hypothalamas of the brain. On a trans regimen using only spironolactone as an AA, it is the estrogen which causes the reduction in T.

Using spironolactone with Bica is redundant for T surpression.. it could help block extra receptors though, but blocking extra with a weak partial agonist such as spironolactone defeats the advantage a little bit of Bica as a pure antagonist.

However, countering the minoxidil with it is a good reason to use it :)

It's mainly the fear of bicalutamide raising T levels and not being able to block enough, especially since I'm using a lower dose. Unless, the 2MG of estradiol will lower my T levels enough that bicalutamide can successfully block T at a lower dose?

Before, it was mainly out of fear of the 'boy smell' returning which some transgenders complain about on bicalutamide, which I thought means it's not working. But, I found someone say this: 'Basically, androgens aren't the only testicular products that contribute to body odor. Non-androgenic androstane steroids that are produced in and secreted from the testes like the pheromones androstenone and androstenol are odorous (described as a "musky" smell) and play an important role in body odor as well. Bicalutamide doesn't lower the levels of testicular products (e.g., androgens and non-androgenic androstane pheromones) and can actually increase them (when used as a monotherapy). Because of this, it's possible that the high levels of non-androgenic but odorous androstane steroids produced by the testes may allow for some level of continued body odor even when the androgen receptor is substantially blocked by bicalutamide.'

I guess I will only use 50MG of spironolactone with its purpose being to counteract the possible water retention of oral minoxidil.

You can use CPA less frequently, and I think it would work successfully. What if you tried 12.5MG/every other day? You might be able to notice if that works out if your skin doesn't get oily and your libido doesn't get higher I think...

It should eventually, considering bicas really long half life. It works by building up and outnumbering testosterone by like 1,000 times.

hey, Ive read this same comment before Lol! and yeah, thats been worrying me too cause I really enjoy no one telling me that I stink even though I no longer wear deodorant. and people used to complain to me all the time that I stink..

I also heard there could be some indirect mental effects from testosterone metabolites. (but not the mental effects from androgen receptor)

all that and the increased T which would lead to some level of competition for receptors deters me from trying bica even though I'd like to try it for its pure antagonism NSAA power.

However, the good news is we can counteract the above effects by taking enough estradiol to inhibit LH secretion, therefore testicular activity. But still we'd have to be careful to take the right amount and enough and figure out the right dosage.

what you could try is doing what Im doing now. 25mg cypro plus 100mg spironolactone.. you could take 12.5mg if 25mg is too much.

cypro gives T reduction along with receptor blocking.

Scare about my liver.

Don't be, raised liver enzymes on medications isn't a huge concern. When I was on isotretinoin, my liver enzymes went 5x higher than it
should be but it goes down once you stop the medication.

I would advise that you stop the medication for now, and wait till your enzyme levels drop. After that, you can reduce your CPA dose and use it less frequently.

My main fear with CPA is the depression side effect, mainly because my depression is already severe and I wouldn't want it to worsen. Once I do get my hands on CPA, I will test it out and see how it goes though (I'm waiting for my endocrinologist appointment).

I honestly do want to try bicalutamide since transgenders and women suffering with hirsutism/acne respond well to it, even at 25MG (assuming that transgenders use estradiol with it). It raises T and raises E but suppresses T, so maybe 25MG of bicalutamide and 2MG of estradiol could work well? It's honestly just fearful for me, especially with how bad my hair loss is. I wouldn't want the raise in T whilst bicalutamide doesn't suppress enough at 25MG, leading to potential further hair loss and acne :( I would probably just have to hope that it builds up in my body well!

(I should post an image of my hairs recent condition, although it has improved slightly!)

Coming from the person who is using 400MG of spironolactone...
Even on 400 mg, my testosterone is in the normal male range. Big buttocks were my illusions. You can try everything to save your hair, but if you don't have respect for those who transition to male then I would say,
’’God did the right thing by giving you balding gene.” You people deserve it.

If 400MG of spironolactone isn’t working for you, then why are you using it? You have been complaining about your dosage and lack of results for so long yet you don’t think to modify your regimen. Instead of telling us that we deserve to go bald, go and spend time thinking about why your regimen is not working for you...

because he needs a CPA. This is the only thing that helps. spironolactone is sh*t.
