By all means! Haha. I do a lot of Olympic lifting (cleans, snatches, squats, deadlifts) so I used my legs every day. Nothing like it for leg development. Currently my max squat at 55kg body weight is 130kg.

I am a little wimp who worries about my knee joints (bad ones from my mom's side), I only ever do leg presses and simple machine exercises. Same for dead lifts, bad back on my dad's side. I should get into cleans and snatches but I've never had anyone teach me that and I feel afraid to try them myself.
