Yeah, but three things. Firstly minoxidil is given more prominence than other compounds, secondly the patent itself says it is basically wounding plus a growth promoter and is also mentioned in puretech's own Doctor and as of now minoxidil is the best growth promoter out there that is not patented. Finally the patents mention compounds that are owned by other companies which don't even have efficacy data available, the mention of these compounds is just to basically broaden out the patent in case in the future they work out.

Unless they have some super secret growth promoter that they have kept secret and done no clinical trials on then it is reasonable to conclude that it is basically wounding and minoxidil. Any other conclusion is basically wishful thinking.

My guess is they have some other ingredients tossed in there because they are selling an applicator. Not much point for an applicator for minoxodil only since the drug comes with an applicator by default. Whether those increase efficacy is unknown.

Has micro needling ever been attempted for facial hair?

Yes for beards and there's plenty of before and afters too. There's a guy called MyBeardJourney on YT who documented his gains with needling + minoxidil weekly for an entire year and you can see his end result was pretty good although continuing for another year would've probably yielded him a full beard.

Beardology has a video that he compiled of other fellow minoxidil beards whom he contacted regarding showing their before and after pics in his video. You can pause the video to check the before and afters of each one too. Some have no doubt achieved excellent results.

Ya true that I just wondering if after the wounding if neogenisis occurs it creates a hair that is as thick as the rest in that general region. Hair wise my body looks like a genetic experiment blonde scalp hair red black blonde beard black chest hair and my nipples...ah you don't want to know about them nipples if only I could have a few on my head.

of course there will be something more than minoxidil tossed inside, but that would 100% be some sh*t like coffeine, serenoa extract, zynch and so on...

If you watch some of the progressive videos you can actually see where some vellus hairs pop up and then later on that same area has converted to terminal.

As for the differentiation of specific regions, I wonder the same thing.
