Still gotta convince my parents to pay for half of my next transplant (and they ought to considering how much I've made them on crypto) but might sell some of my XLM and put it aside for it.

I did a year of mining engineering, I transferred into math and physics.

What made you make the change? I started off with law/arts then switched to finance/arts because the majority of grads weren't getting law specific work and especially in Adelaide the prospects were probably 1/10. Also horrible salaries and hours in the sector. Far too much supply of law grads.

I didn't have a good experience 800 meters underground in my internship, which in hindsight is easier to understand, due in part to my hearing problem.

Separately, my highest grades were in my math classes, so I figured I'd have an comparative advantage there.

Finally, it wasn't my crowd. Engineering is a low intellectuality community. People didn't have a lot of interests outside of playing cards and getting drunk. The couple guys that I knew that I could have good conversations with are no longer in engineering.

Most of the people I know in engineering either fit this mold and are fine with it or they've decided to put up with it, work in the sector for 5-10 years while investing wisely at which point they're likely to be set for life. The opportunities in mining are everywhere and I've known some people with grad salaries over 100k. A lot move into senior and management positions quickly too.

The hours and having to essentially live at a mine-site aren't too appealing for most either.

I'm visiting West Palm Beach and just browsed a bit, I feel so out of place.

I saw a nice pair of pants on sale for $500, and a nice painting listed for $125,000. I did pass by another place selling paintings I liked starting at $5,000. This area is a big museum of consumerism serving rich people.

A lot of the people are very good looking, gifted.

I did see a young bald man earlier. He was discussing crypto currency investments with his friends, and other topics.

Did you just randomly snap that picture or did you think of what you were shooting? It looks very pleasing.

I used BitGrail to buy mine with BitcoinCash. Relatively fast transfer and average price.

How many did you get? Hoping it wins the binance vote, would make things easier. A Korean exchange option would be amazing too. A few are bearish because they think it's been pumped on tight supply, but the fact that it's pumped so much on basically a single exchange people have to sign up especially for and trust makes this seem unlikely. Zero fee low tx time coins are hot right now and I think when it hits bigger exchanges its only going to further blow up. A short term correction is possible though.

Tbh, I do very little analyzing fundamentals. Rather I hedge myself on every coin, buying on the basis of it's weighted
market cap relative to my existing portfolio. This way I let the market decide which wins out in the end. They're all winners as far as I'm concerned. Therefore as you surely understand, I don't care about short term movements.

This is also more practical in terms of hard wallet availability for ''small coins'' as holding much on an exchange isn't really very fun feeling.

I have it all in an OpenOffice Sheet with all the details so I'am able to keep track.
I think you'd say that I bought early and enough.

Like you say - It does what BTC promised, and it's actually the coin that's arguably most applicable for general public in terms of
scalability and readiness. I too hope I can use XRB for transfer between exchanges f.ex. ...or my morning latte :p

I've pretty much thrown $200-300 at everything I thought had a chance of 10x on basic fundamentals aside from my majors. Very glad I did. I have a mate who's invested in crypto20 which is like a crypto index fund for the top 20 which seems worthwhile, but I haven't looked into it.

Well then we don't differ much in strategy it seems.

EDIT: About that crypto fund, I didn't know of it's existence. It's prolly a much better alternative for
the majority of people wanting a hedge or just would like the chance of partaking in early (potential) adoption, like f. ex. @Afro_Vacancy .

What's it called?

EDIT: Found it. Yea, it's weighted investments are pretty skewed...but it's not a surprise really considering volatility. I think the idea of it is very good and it may prove to be a great choice.

Ok laddies, I've fathomed another 550$ to dump into crypto.

Where do I dump them for moon mission?
XLM- is a good candidate but how far can it go to considering its rank, market cap and price now ?
REQ- got around 1200 REQs now, its 0.7$ but don't know how much it will go up to
QSP- Supported by Ycombinator, partner with REQ, full of graduates and seniors from Ivy League schools, decent and unique project, sits around 0.45$ as I write now
BURST- 0.05$, don't know how far can it go up, some say it's a shitcoin, others don't. @JeanLucBB input would be nice
XRB- Raiblocks mooned to 30$, making profits with this small soom seem unimaginable unless it hits crazy amounts of money.
FUN- decent team, unique product, many whales, still cheap, dunno how far can it go.

Any thoughts laddies?

Is investing THAT easy? Your salary is 100-120k, you work for 10-12 years, invest your savings, and by 35 you can retire?

i was in that area a few years ago, rich white areas are always filled with perfect lookers. still i obviously prefer that over being comparatively hotter in horrible dangerous ghetto black areas like mine lmao.

how do you know the people were gifted?
