I know it's easy to confuse them, but this bilbo, not bobby.

Oh damn, was on my phone, on the move. Apologies to the guy.

I now even feel sorry more for the guys on here who are/were bald in their early 20s.

Reason is I am delaying a hair transplant for the front because I don't want my "summer ruined" with having to buzz my hair, rather do it all in winter. I often here Norwood 1s moan about a barber ruining their hair before summer events.

Then I thought to myself, the young guys on here live with it daily, not just summer. Truly is cruel.

Don't get me wrong I am heading for a Norwood 3(V) in my late 20's and there are 40 year olds around me with more hair, but I can't begin to imagine how life must be for you guys. As despite throwing the kitchen sink at male pattern baldness, some people just can't get a lot back due to their genes.

Most optimal months to get a hair transplant would be October/November. 100%

yeah well
couple that with a naturally 4 finger forehead, my minor recession to a nw2 has made me ****ing almost 5 finger. its so damn depressing
worst thing is i can't even grow my hair out anymore because i'm diffuse thinning not just receding.
the only saving grace is that i still have a hairline albeit a high hairline like Aaron Paul. My hairline/forehead is very similar to his
High and big forehead.
I'm so damn glad I'm not short and have decent aesthetics

Yeah exactly Shookwun. Also I'll be one year on finasteride then too. I am planning on finding a surgeon in Belgium or Australia. Mainland Europe basically. Cheaper and easier for me to get to.

You should just keep it buzzed, Norwood 2 hairline is fine. I know you're worried for the forehead but lowering it won't make much difference. As a big forehead is different to high. I have a high one, when I do a Caesar type style I look crap despite covering it, shows that the forehead is fine if I can get back to Norwood 2.

I got mine in May, yep, it was a terrible choice. But I couldn't bear the slick NW5 anymore.

Completely get this.

Most here are losing their hair after their teens and can't image being bald in your early 20's while I am just sitting here losing my hair since my mid teens (since being 15 years old) and would be bald without using meds before 18. Not that losing hair or being bald in your 20's is a walk in the park but I am sure guys like exodus could relate about how f***** up it is to lose you hair before even being officially considered an adult by the law. The worst part is being surrounded by perfect nw1 peers which the thought of losing their hair in their teens will never even appear to them. From a sea of teens nature picked me to go bald at that age. I am such a lucky guy...

I feel ya. I feel like an outcast myself being the lone balding girl in a sea of perfect heads of hair. It sucks more than anything being the one who was picked for this nightmare.

You're not alone. A female colleague of mine who is 26 told me her mother was bald (she's in her 60's though) and that it might happen to her one day too.

The thing is, I can spot hair loss a mile away, and even before people realize it themselves apparently, because I can see that she's already thinning.

I saw that my girlfriend's mother was thinning too, and even her sister is showing a bit diffusing at 24, which is weird because they are twins and my girlfriend doesn't have it.

I don't have a lot of girls that are close to me, but I don't have to look far to see that balding happens to more women that one would think.
my mum had diffuse thinning hence my diffuse thinning
it is much worst for girls to lose their hair compared to guys...

Feel sorry for him also.

Having wisdom, and confidence unfortunately doesn't get you laid. Could be the most interesting person out there, but without something pleasing to look at you will be swiped right for X.

We are judged by the cover in most cases, without a moderate base most people won't even look twice.

Damn I feel for that guy... to say that people don't give us abuse, watch this video he made

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Euv_Lpj_jA

I feel sorry for him with out a doubt.
He's not ugly in the slightest. Yeah, he's bald, but other then that he's not a bad looking chap.
it's a shame that people mock him. True, he's uploading videos on to youtube. You have to be aware that, if your going to do that, prepare to be ridiculed, regardless of how talented or attractive you are.

Here's my rant for the day, I really hate crudway subs! the witches are always in the back of the place avoiding work and talking crap about other people. If they're so damn cool, then tell me what the **** they're doing working at a damn crudway! Real itches work at mcdonalds. The itch that talked about my hairpiece the one day, wears one herself!
I feel like a Wyatt, I'd give a good nut just to give her a sista abigil finisher and after I'd say, "follow the brotha" lol.

It's nice that at least you try. Hairloss is terrible, don't get me wrong, but it's always sad to see someone so young just give up. Regardless of what religion you may believe in, this life is the only one guaranteed. I went through something that was life threatening, twice, and let me tell you something, you don't realize how much you want to live to see tomorrow when you're faced with the fact that that might not be possible.

WolfPack, is the finasteride not working? I assumed it was.

It's working real well within 2 months. Now up to 6 months. I have pretty thick hair and that has gone even tighter, wavier, thicker and resistant to the wind. My gf and family have noticed the more "life like" hair as well as insignificant regrowth. Problem is as a Norwood 2.5/3, cosmetically noticeable regrowth is a different ball game especially in bald frontal areas. Crown has been thinning over the past 2 years although in pictures it's only mildly noticeable. But in my apartment in one spot, you can see it well, black thick hair and fair skin is not a good combo.

I'm just planning ahead in terms of Finasteride not giving me what I need (quite likely). Minoxidil might be a good bet as it's for regrowth but I rather have a minor crown hair transplant and a restoration one for the front. Just rather not use a topical if it's possible.

No one really notices baldness up to Norwood 3 in my experience unless it's a Norwood spotter and certainly had no issues with girls in the past. I'm just very conscious about my hairline so something needs to be done, hate the look in the mirror.

I once found that guy ages ago on youtube too about rogaine. Bascially feel real bad for him. Not attractive, feminine and now bald. All so young.

And not only this but girls notice every damn thing on superficial level! Seriously a close friend has recently had a new girl that I had to meet. She picked up things on my appearance (good stuff) that I didn't think they would care for and compared their bf's lack of effort - according to my mate. Also bad stuff like I didn't make much effort to know her. Lol.

Even girls who are not that fit will notice a lot head to toe.

Man I was kind of scared when the video began coz I thought that guy would shoot himself or maybe even have an emotional outburst. He seemed pretty chilled though. To think about it I turned 22 this year too and now I'm at NW4. Sucks being bald this young.

Coming to the point of negative jibes, I don't really get much of that to be honest. Maybe it's still not that evident. However people do notice once in a while and say hey you're losing hair. Mostly they just say it out of the obvious and not because they want to ridicule me so I don't lash back. Usually older people comment with sympathy or pity more than anything else when they notice that I'm losing hair.
