There is a perfect balance of unhappiness that society tries to maintain in its citizens: no too happy that they consume less than the economy demands, not too unhappy that they start getting funny ideas, like supporting socialism or engaging in criminality. The last years society has failed in this, and all this extra misery is being harnassed into rage. BLM/trump, riots, increased spree shootings... All symptoms, expressions of the same unhappiness in different flavours.

As to your point, without two parents it's impossible to raise the best version of your child. People will vehemently debate this, but, how imperfect parents may be ( they're humans = flawed first and foremost), you need a balance of masculine and feminine energy

Does anyone else feel trapped in a matrix?

I'm not depressed but the few women I have matched with off dating apps over the years and been out with have been really low quality. When I had a girlfriend, I genuinely felt like I had a greater purpose and actually really felt like a Man with a responsibility to raise a family and protect.

But with no women this feeling doesn't exist. I know there's more to life than women and it shouldn't be your main purpose in life. However, I suppose biologically we are on this earth to reproduce.

I just kind of go through the motions, work hard at my job try and get a better job, save a bit of money, do things to pass time
But I just feel like there's more to life than this. I go to work and people talk about tik tok and social media memes. I find it hard to relate to them. I just feel unplugged.

Although I try to achieve goals out of pride, I don't actually really care about material things anymore.

Sorry for the rambling here . But does anyone understand what I'm saying? this overall lack of greater purpose or meaning?
