Yeah, I've regrown hair all over. I'm just focusing on the hairline since it's the easiest to see regrowth and take consistent pictures for. If you're losing hair on the sides of your head and not in a pattern it's probably not male pattern baldness and possibly something else like an immune disorder, stress, nutrient deficiency etc.
That is unreal. You should add some supplementary stuff from the dermarolling thread if not min and you'd have all your hair back

Perhaps if I need the extra boost but it seems like my regrowth is still continuing. I'd rather not add extra things that aren't necessary since it can get costly and become a massive chore. My current regime is pretty simple in terms of effort and it's only costing me $12 AUD a month. Besides if I used something like min it'd mean the hairs are then reliant on it and I'm then committed to consistently use it for life. I'm under the impression that hairs gained through mechanical stimulation are semi-permanent due to angiogenesis which is the formation of new blood vessels which support the hair follicle.

The more intensive dermapen session was a great success, back to seeing results within the week. The only downside is that my scalp was red for 3 days afterwards and I was unable to do more intensive massages due to it being both sore and tighter. I think I might change my regime up to microneedling every 10 days so there is less downtime in terms of massages.
There was also some shedding sadly and my scalp was itchy for 5 days after which I found concerning at the time but it appears to be fine now.

It's rather hard to see since it was hard to hit focus but there are terminal hairs now forming quite deep into my bald zone, only a matter of time before the rest starts quickly filling in. Hoping to get some terminal hairs even further out, I might end up getting a better Norwood than I ever remembered having.

It seems to vary, it appears some hairs for me shed and then grow back thicker where as other hairs straight up grow into terminal from vellus.

Was going through some old pictures and I found this fairly interesting picture of all my dandruff that had fallen on my pants after a single long scalp massage, really shows how bad it was, the image appears to be taken June 19th. I virtually have zero dandruff now.The second picture is my drawing tablet after only a few hours of being on the computer, it had fallen off onto there as a leaned over to my keyboard.

Yes but it's different to this which was dandruff, my skin does peel and flake when microneedling but it's not as severe and it mostly peels more cleanly. It's not a massive issue and it's mostly gone after having a shower and running my nails through my hair.

How the f*** it can be so loose wtf
Mine is also in that process...The deeper and harder you massage the more loose it will become...Though will take 6months minimum for that amount of looseness...
And thats how the scalp of a normal non balding is...Loose and skin like feeling..not like ours rock like feeling:(

I doubt that it has any relation with balding. Pure broscience.

3 month passed since i started scalp massaging, everyday 20 min morning, 20 min evening, i can't see any big difference, but scalp is more loosening than before, but it is nothing yet, main problem is the dandruff while massaging... still the same when it was when i started massaging 3 month ago...

I’ve tried dermapen 1.5mm for 3 weeks but it’s so damn fkin painful, anyway I can ease the pain? Using minoxidil now, this is current state. Using finasteride as well now, can someone give me tips/help, this sh*t is killing me (the pen and also the anxiety from this fkin balding.) these pics are with minoxidil in.

If you're getting dandruff still I imagine you might not be washing your scalp correctly, I believe the reason I saw a complete reduction in dandruff is because it releases the sebum in my scalp which the Malassezia fungus eats. You will want to likely incorporate a shampoo containing either zinc pyrithione or ketoconazole and keep your scalp clean regularly. Personally I washed my hair every single day for perhaps 6 months straight, I'm still on the two same bottles too, you don't need a lot. Dandruff and scalp itch haven't been an issue for a very long time now, sometimes I get lazy and not wash my hair for 2-3 days but I still keep it clean regularly.

If you go over your scalp lightly a few times your body should release a natural painkiller, it takes a bit longer but it will numb the majority of the pain away. Also try higher speed settings, I only found the lower speeds of the dermapen to really hurt.

Feels assuring having some thicker hairs towards the slick bald, they're looking quite healthy.

I’ll give it a try, looking at my pics, do you think there’s any hope

Hard to tell with your sides cut short but it looks like you are mainly diffusely thinning as your hairline is still intact, you probably have a better chance to regrow your hair than I do my hairline.
