Feels like yesterday I came on to see a thread from a new poster who was a hat prisoner since age 12, and today a PE teacher who weighed 275 pounds.

I'm 6'3" and about your starting weight. It's very hard for me to accept that I'm a big bald guy. While I have never seen a Fast and Furious movie, I don't dislike The Rock or Vin Diesel...but I also don't want to look like them. I don't like the big bald badass look that men are encouraged to adapt when they lose their hair. I would be more inclined to adopt a diet to avoid any bulk and to dress a bit more formal so people didn't think I was a meathead.

It's tough because people scorn guys our height who don't like it and the advice is always to try to get as big as possible and fit a silly stereotype that may look cool in movies but that few women really want.

I really appreciate all your words of encouragement. I just used the cards I was dealt and this is what I came up with. It makes me feel better and I have tons of confidence. It's better than being depressed and suicidal.

This is where I was when I started running, losing weight, and growing a beard. The sun is shining off my scalp, and I'm blonde, so it's hard to tell, but I'd say probably between a Norwood 4 or 5

Being blonde with fair skin helps A LOT!
I have fair skin and jet black hair. So even if I shave, there are fine lines dividing my shiny bald scalp and my thick grey areas. The worst part is that my temples are gone and my forelock is thick. So it looks like a blotch of blackness in the middle of my bald head.

I've been thinking whether I should try SMP, or laser hair removal (yeah, thought of these things, that's how bad I look at the moment)

Great story mate! I Love how you never gave up. You turned a negative into a positive and kept chipping away.

I was in a similar situation to you and overcame huge obstacles in my way as well so your story resonates with me a lot.


Just wondering what was the best type of training lost you the most weight? My brother is like your before photo and I want to train him to drop weight.

Could you detail your workouts here if you don’t mind.

And why exactly do people come on here and write 10 page rants about how all women are awful (but you need them to be happy) and how your life is totally over and pointless if you go bald? Whom are they trying to convince? This reverse psych stuff works both ways.

OP if you do feel better, congrats because that's all that matters. But don't stay here because you might end up rethinking a couple things about how we are perceived by others and how looks influence our lives if you browse this place too much. It was blue-pill land a few years ago, now it's a PSL subforum.

Okay, that's cool. I agree keeping in shape is important.
And mate, there really is a lot of average girls out there that seriously turn me on more then the so called "Stacey's"

Some average women really have a certain sexual magnetism that I just can't resist.
