sh*t!! I also want @Afro_Vacancy at our Hawaiian meet-up.
He can fix the air conditioner.
We will need you there in case anyone becomes "thoughtless". We always need you to remind us to "give it some thought".:D In all seriousness, I would love to go to Hawaii. I think that would be an excellent meet up. If not I would go to Canada too just to see Rahal for a consult. :D

I often ponder a meet-up between regular impact hairlosstalk members.
We could have it in some neutral global location... like, ummm.. let's say, Hawaii??

The alcohol would be flowing, of course.
I would really love to meet @buckthorn, @Rudiger, @DoctorHouse, @sunchyme1, @WhitePolarBear, @hairblues, @Pasbrillantebrunette, @EvilLocks .. and you of course, @JohnsonDDG.

Oh!! And I can't forget the dude I really wanna meet the most..
@Dante92.
Don't forget David, Copeforlife, baldhurts, dench, and zircon

Yes indeed. I know, an ugly guy should wear a mask and play the organ, but it's not that easy. :D

awesome! even our vapid society can't take away your enjoyment of creating beautiful music.

i just started learning and it's insanely difficult. wish i would have started earlier. how long have you been playing? do you have any tips on practice patterns and techniques to learn hand independence?

For a few years. Tips? Passion, patience and practice. It's the only way. Don't take things too fast or too difficult, start with something simple and gradually increase the difficulty. It takes time to even understand and know your fingers (you'll understand what I mean soon enough...) and the keyboard and how to make them interact. Finding a good teacher is essential, learning or at least starting alone and after a certain age is impossible.
Dante, wait now you are giving tips on how men should play with their organ? First you need a mask and then you have to take it slow and know your fingers? I get all that but what about the lube? Would that not give you better friction?:D If you are good teacher, can I hire you because I think all these years I might be doing it wrong.:D

good advice, especially patience. i'll keep trying. looking at some pieces, it just seems impossible that i will ever have that ability. it's like another planet. that can be frustrating. does it just click at some point, after years of slow practice ?

i have a teacher that i see twice a month. it's pretty expensive so my plan is to continue alone once i gain a decent foundation from her (maybe six months of lessons?).

That's true for both genders. Especially Sarah Jessica Parker. I don't know how HBO hides it, but their makeup artists are GENIUSES. Her skin is so bad it looks like it was made for an Aliens science fiction movie!

If only they could do that for my face, my body, and everything else. I would be a REAL knockout to ALL WOMEN!

At my age, the best advice I can give men my own age is this. Let numbers work for you. Ten percent of women are born gay. So every man in their late forties should dress up as a LESBIAN, and hide their gender identity. Not to mention, in some countries that could give us a distinct job advantage!

mr rclark, as it happens, im a fan of MAD. not the new stuff, but the old, old mad books... like this guy...

Yes, I'm his clone! LOL. My mother went to Micheal Jackson's never land ranch, and had a bad
experience. Now I have some of features.

@yetti you're the best, for real.

i may be in the minority but i 100% agree with the sentiment of the video and how the message is delivered. I wholeheartedly believe people are conditioned to look for in others what they lack most in themselves. I always saw it as some type of genetic/evolutionary compensation, but the missing tile syndrome is an even better way to describe it. In very simplistic terms, we cannot love in others what we hate in ourselves.
Macaroni, I also think when we notice someone else has the missing tile we need. We tend to envy them and feel our genetics have failed us or they have been genetically blessed.
