My dad is a thin NW4, and my mom is insistent that he keeps the top grown out. I was suggesting to her that he should try a tight buzz and facial stubble(he's ALWAYS clean shaven, grew it out some years ago and it actually looked pretty decent), and my mom had all these excuses why he shouldn't

I remember years ago, buzzing my head and showing up for work, and this one female coworker being completely incredulous at me for doing that, like I had wronged her in some way or something

i think buzz cuts work best for younger guys. once youve hit 40 its ok to be thin and have some hair grown out. actually probably better than a buzz cut to be honest

I found the solution to this a long time ago, well the solution was forced upon me:

Meet your next girlfriend with an already shaved head, then you can be sure that she'll never b**ch about your hair.

inb4 "but getting a girlfriend with a shaved head is impossible!"

Never go slybalguy though, just shave without clippers on the sides and use a 6-10 mm guard for the top.

And absolutely under no circumstance meeting women with a hat on. This gives a false mis-presentation and will lead you to more agony then it will success.

how bad is your hair? mind sharing pics? Mine is honestly terribly diffused all the way through. I've taken up close pics and I have about 10-20 hair/cm2 depending on the area, all the way through. It's now getting diffused on the upper sides and on the back.

I havent shared up close pics under light with anyone because I am ashamed of this. I would say hop on finasteride to atleast maintain for a couple of years even with terrible sides (Im sure it aint that bad if you accept them I have them as well).

Can you imagine a sideless maintainance treatment (brotzu, sammumed coming out) but you dont have any hair left??

I have other issues as well but going bald would wreck me completely.
