such people mostly lives in rural area of villages/small slums in Urban India and Standard of Living of such people is far poorer than than average people.
When i was doing Medical from Government Medical college,i had a chance to meet many such type of people on daily basis.
This people do not care about their standard of living,and this people are content with how they live.

You will never see people doing that near a good urban place on any road.
This thing is either at slums of major cities or at a remote villages.

Because of new government elected at 2014,huge measures have been taken by government to eradicate this thing from this country.
And this percentage is sharply decreasing at a pace that this BS will be part of history within 5/10 years.

I am glad that you acknowledge that problem exists. .A lot of problems in the world can be solved if people can just start recognizing their existence. Poverty is one factor behind such a widespread practice of public defecation/urination. But I think there are other factors involved in it as well. In my opinion it's also a cultural problem. I have seen middle class and sometimes even wealthy people urinating in public, if not defecating. They keep their own houses really clean but they pretty much treat public places as trash cans. I hope it changes. Like you, I also have a lot of hope from prime minister Modi. I am aware of the steps that he has taken to improve the situation and truly hope they eventually lead to fundamental change in the attitude that Indians have towards public places..

This is a good thread, because really, it's the unexpected fears that cause us the most stress.

Used to having shitty hair, but I'm going to fight it until my death (or it causes it!).

That said, I was in a room with guys who were taller than me.

I'm six feet one inch, so this isn't always the case. All guys were taller than me.

And I felt like a ten year old boy scout in high school, being picked on. It was f*****g the worst
