Fairly sure the whole thing would have to be subject to Phase 1-3 clinical trials here in Europe and likewise in the US. Would be interesting to hear from someone who knows about these sorts of things though.
Perhaps if it does get released in Japan, there would be certain loopholes to get it done in Europe - such as taking the follicles they need, flying them to Japan for the processing then flown back for the injecting..
why is that? I'm very ignorant on this topic.

We're talking about it now in 2018. Why would we not talk about in 2019 once it has been proven effective?

Because everybody hypes a treatment, then when the purported release date comes everyone forgets about it or looks the other way at the inevitable delays. That’s how this works.

Is this true?
If so, then there is good basis to believe that this trial for efficacy might really be up to the hype.
The first trial was a single dose, high injection. Which as I recall they said themselves, may not have been ideal in hindsight.
It stands to reason that lower dose injections at different intervals will boost results.
But we'll see.

On the basis of the Phase I trial already demonstrating comparable efficacy to finasteride w/ a single injection. Shiseido would have to royally screw the Phase II trials to not bring it to market which is highly unlikely. They built a whole facility dedicated to RCH-01.
Shiseido is a real company and not a bio-tech startup with no financial backing. They have a golden ticket on their hands and they will definitely cash in on it.

That does not mean you wont respond to RCH-01. They operate through different mechanisms. Finasteride reduces dht through inhibition of 5ar while rch-01 will give you donor hair resistance to dht to the entire scalp.

Lol I know they work differently. Problem for me is that I have no donor hair.
Hypothetically assuming someone matched with you like any donor would have to match with a recipient, could someone donate a scalp biopsy of donor cells for the treatment so you could get the benefit ?
