1) rigorous news that this works for AA is wonderful. How well does it work? Does it cure AA?

2) This sounds like a topical finasteride+minoxidil+ wth fewer side effects. What's not to like? Why are you guys still complaining?

1) Way back on this page is a link to the videos. Does look like it could be an AA cure indeed.

2) Because as you've wisely said, some people are eternal pessimists who probably don't want their problem solved. Also, a few days back, I did a challenge some guy posed to compare the pipeline to the "thousands of other failed treatments" that he said I could find on Google. Turns out the vast majority of "treatments" are just mixtures of amino acid and random vitamins that do nothing...shocking. Totally comparable to cell therapies and sh*t

A lot of people find this too good to be true. I think it's a bit early to make judgment that way or any other given this hasn't even come out in earnest yet.

I agree with your assessment that it looks like finasteride + minoxidil. That's what I've been saying.
I already take finasteride and minoxidil without side effects so this new treatment wouldn't benefit me at all.
It will only be a (big) benefit for the people who get side effects from finasteride + minoxidil
For us that don't get side effects from finasteride + side effects it won't improve our situation.

Finasteride reduces DHT levels by ~60%.
Brotzu lotion makes DHT less effective.

So if you believe that dutasteride works better than finasteride, then you necessarily also believe that finasteride and brotzu will work better together than separately.

Perhaps. Good point. If you use dutasteride or finasteride PLUS Brotzu's lotion that could improve the result over finasteride or dutasteride some if Brotzu's lotion does negate DHT in a different way than finasteride/dutasteride do.

And I do think that dutasteride is better than finasteride.

Have to agree with nameless. 5 years regrowth is best case scenario and would be incredible, but these results would be for test subjects not on other treatments. If you're already on finasteride and minoxidil would this lotion regrow anything extra? I doubt it. But who knows, maybe it would have a synergistic affect and regrow extra hair.
If you're already on finasteride and minoxidil for 3 years, does the lotion regrow 5 years of hair from current status, or 5 years of hair lost before you started finasteride and maintained?

Reminder: The hypothesis on this forum that L-carnitine+DGLA = minoxidil is not proven. It may be a separate stimulant.

just for info: all the brotzu claims was made according to the first lotion he made. (5 years of recovery....)

the FIDIA lotion made for the trial is an enhanced version of the brotzu's lotion and it's more efficient. this is was confirmed by @beps63 and the italian woman whom suffer for AA and tested the lotion. so we can expect a better result.

beps says that when he started using the FIDIA lotion a new vellu hair appears.


i think the question of "how much you can recover" depend on how long are you loosing your hair. if you started loosing your hair 30 years ago the lotion will recover only 5 years, this wont recover all your hair because 25 years of hair loss left.

but according to the testemony of beps the lotion recover him more than +10 years

Frankly, no one should be taking beps' words as any sort of gospel. No disrespect if he's the real deal, I think he probably is truthful, but we can't be certain that he is.

We have no real idea how the lotion actually compares to the average minoxidil responder.

Yeah, I wonder about this as well, I hope also it could be a useful addition even for people who are already successfully on finasteride + minoxidil and give them even better results.

It is also important to note that he said "up to 5 years"! I seriously doubt that for people who started agressively balding at 17/18 and have become a Norwood 3-4 at 22 are guaranteed to fully recover and get their thick NW1 back. We should be realistic.

we answered that several time but doesn't matter your're new member and won't read 197 pages.

1- this lotion sound promissing it can replace the BIG three (fine,minoxidil and keto) without side and normally have a better result.
2- use it once a day for 2-3 years until you reach the maximum hair recovery that you can't get with this lotion and then to maitain you can use it 2-3 time a week.

3- normally 2017 / the official trial finish in december so do not expect official data in 2016.
