Another advantage of this product is that Dr. Brotzu is an renowned and professional scientist
As you can read he was working on disease which might cause serious health problems contrary to male pattern baldness. So he had to see a potential in this unexpected discovery. I dont see reason why he would take risk and end up as liar?
The interesting thing is he pointed out that lotion is BETTER than finasteride and minoxidil.

My interest in this would be how does it compare to finasteride in terms of stopping androgens? That is really the root of the problem with male pattern baldness stopping androgens the most possible. Hopefully the cost is comparable to generic finasteride which is pretty cheap these days

What is the latest news? How long do we have to wait, some time in 2017 (probably means 2018 or never)? Why does he even need to do another "trial" if he said he has been testing it on patients of the past few years? I thought the key to using a precursor was to avoid this kind of wait, and that he already tested it himself. Is this more snakeoil? I don't have till /maybe/ 2017, Christ... what can I do? :(

FIDIA which is the company that will produce the cream should make their own trial before release the product. hope this trial won't take much time, according to some people that emailed FIDIA said that they already started the trial.

hope 6 month will be enough for the trial and then they can produce this lotion.

Keep in mind a longer trial is better, as it yields superior information.

True, but in an ideal world how about 6 months and if results warrant just release the product. Then keep the study going for a year or whatever to show longer term results. If male pattern baldness had 6 different decently effective options id say who really cares, but there isnt. Anything that works its really a time is of the essence kind of thing. You cant regrow or get back hair so each day we lose more.

The 3 month trial from Samumed was only borderline useful, it was 10% regrowth after 3 months.

6-months is likely to be sufficient, 12 months would be amazing. You're right they can keep the trial going after releasing the product.

Once this product comes out I plan, at least for the six months, to have it added to my regimen rather than replacing my regimen. If it works as good as Brotzu says, I will drop the minoxidil, the stemoxydine, and the RU within 6 months.

Yeah I thought samumed sold themselves short by releasing 3 month, but its okay if they keep going and get at least 6 to see where its headed. I would always prefer speed though. Start the next phase 3 or whatever in parallel with the current one and just go with it. The FDA should be speeding this stuff up, not slowing it down

Everyone loves to hate on the FDA.... The FDA is there to protect us. It makes sure that what we use for out hair won't kill us... Just relax on the FDA; that being said, their process could be expedited slightly

The FDA is there to enable the interests of the pharmaceutical companies.

It protects us the same way financial regulators protect common folks from banks.

Old enough to no longer believe in noble government.
Sure.. It's the FDA fault if any company can't beat the minoxidil data and don't make it to the phase III.

And please face the truth for once... Finasteride would be in Phase I/II, you will do some group-buys to get your hand on the drug before it reaches the market. How ironic it is.

I haven't done any group buys.

The FDA is a mix of bad and good. It's not black and white.

Without gov't regulations and pure greed + clever marketing, everyone would be taken by dishonest companies. But yes, a part of the FDA is money based (ie lobbying), so where there is money, there will be some corruption. I see it as a necessary evil.

Do you think that DGLA might work in similar way to minoxidil? Brotzu said that he doesnt know why and how exactly DGLA works for regrothw. I see there many similarities.
