Dear Mr. *******
Fidia just began a clinical trial, with a defined protocol, focusing on a specific formulation suitable for industrial scaling-up.
Regretfully, we are not able to figure out in advance the formulation's effectiveness and tolerability, that shall be demonstrated during the trial, with statistical significance and clinical relevance.
The trial panel has already been defined and we cannot further improve the number of patients included.
Neither exact launch plans nor time-to-market priorities have been defined for the product yet.
We will keep you abreast of the company's future steps in this concern.
Please, do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions on the subject.
Cordially yours.

Thanks for posting this and contacting them.
That confirms it, as we discussed earlier about there is no confirmed time frame for when this product will be released.
It could be 6 months, it could be 3 years, it could be never.
Personally I could maybe wait 6 months but I can't wait 3 years, my hair will be gone.
My hopes are now very much on that someone else makes the lotion so we can test it ourselves to see if it works and then use it until hopefully Fidia releases it officially.
Stop overinterpreting a legal form letter.
They're just trying to limit liability by not making false promises.
It won't be 3 years, as they're not making a 3-years trial. 3-year trials are extremely, extremely rare in the hair loss industry prior to product release.
Is anyone using s-equol orally? That Equelle product is out there.
any before and after pics? beside, can italians be trusted with such a big task? this is not pizza
I started taking equol orally as well as topically. To dissolve equol i mixed it with isopropyl myristate and then mixed it with wax and a few other oils. It is certainly very easy to dissolve even in pill format; just open up the pills and mix the powder with IM
Didnt people already say that equol taken orally is probably not even used/absorbed anyway? Whether it works or not orally wont mean much if its only useful when applied topically.
IMO the evidence equol stops DHT is still very lackluster. I guess if you applied it topically you might not see a big drop in systemic DHT even if it worked so its probably hard to prove it does anything. I would think DHT levels would drop slightly if you did a hormone test afterwards so that might be some proof it does anything

What's the Equelle product?
It turns out that there are contradictory results on that question.
