I'm alive guys..

I was in a mental home for 2 months. Almost offed myself 3 times. Antidepressants helped.

Can you give of some of the insight you learned in the mental home? Any pearls of wisdom you remember them teaching you? Did they use CBT?

Well the antidepressants helped with the intrusive and obsessive suicidal thinking.

And yes CBT did help.

They explained how a rapid change in how you view your appearance and something being taken away without your control is the equivalent of mourning a loss, a death of a family member.
It's a grieving stage. A part of you is going away. It's extremely difficult to handle and accept at a young age.
