So? Of course it's easy to get a girlfriend.

But all you're saying here doesn't matter at all.

What matters is: you don't want to be the bald guy.

You're a shallow guy -- you think people only do sports for women. They do it for fun. And lots of people do sports into their 60s and 70s.

I never skied until I was 30 because I grew up in poverty, but when it happened, it was glorious. I did it for myself not to pick up chicks. People don't go to the Italian Alps to pick up chicks, if that was the case they would go to the nearby cities. When I went, there were people in their 60s and 70s skiing there too.

Which is something you apparently don't understand, which is why you dismiss it as boring.

As for chicks liking you for you or me for me, don't assume that women are a different species from men. The fact is women who are ambitious and stay healthy will more easily attract men than women who are slothful and let themselves go.

Without the analysis, sports for fun and good health smoothly overlaps with sports for increased attractiveness. I get the impression it's mostly guys who are both relatively healthy and good looking that don't make the distinction so sharply to begin with. It may be desirable to work on giving up that distinction even after it has formed, as it will promote a healthier attitude towards both exercise and one's sense of one's own sexual desirability.
I know from experience when my attitude towards the gym is along the lines of "I need to go lift, because it may compensate for when my NW2 becomes a NW3", I feel much less happy about going than when it is "Last week I benched 4x85 kg, let's go for 5 today and later have a great meal, and relax, life is good when the body works well". Both examples are made a bit more extreme to emphasize my point. I think if a female picks up on the first attitude, she's very turned off by it, too.

I think guys who work out and take care of their bodies is a plus, but not a requirement (as long as they're not fat). But you don't need to look like the Hulk to appear attractive to girls, at least in my opinion. I prefer a nice, toned body on a man, but that's just me. There is definitely such a thing as too much muscle on a guy.

"Too much muscle" and "looking like the hulk" is a non-issue, that level is extremely rare and difficult to obtain.

It's like saying that there's such a thing as "too much height" because men who are 6'7 don't look as attractive.

Advice from some old people

2. You might live a long life, or you might live a short one — who knows. But either way, trust me when I say that you’re going to wish you took better care of yourself in your youth.

12. Eat and exercise like you’re a diabetic heart patient with a stroke — so you never actually become one.

13. Maybe this one isn’t as profound as the others, but I think it’s important… Floss regularly, dental problems are awful.

15. The joints you damage today will get their revenge later. Even if you think they’ve recovered completely. TRUST ME!

*******

I relate completely. I'm only 32, I'm taking care of myself now, but I wish I had eaten better, taken better care of myself, when I was 8-25.

And to those of you on here hating on exercise and physical fitness, go f*ck yourselves. I'm sure there are things you're interested in that I would find stupid

My honest impression is that some of them don't have very many interests at all, just video games, tinder, HairLossTalk.com, etc.

The dental stuff is so underrated, once you get beyond a certain point with it those previously reasonably comfortable dentist visits and the days/weeks following them can turn real sour.

The guys I've been fooling around with lately ever since me and my girlfriend broke up have all been at least moderately fit.

Here's a pic of one of them:
5.png
His physique is not hard to maintain with even a small amount of effort. Any reason you make up for not being able to do so is nothing more than an excuse for your laziness. Anyone who says looking at least moderately fit does not markedly increase your attractiveness is delusional. I would not have been attracted to him if he was your standard poster here (25%+ body fat, zero muscle, probably lacking on hygiene in other ways) and that's just a fact.

Agreed. Its a cope for those who say it doesn't do anything. Big muscles, and fitness is desirable to women equally as big Tits and hips are to men. Its evolutionary traits that are desirable when considering partners and helps with choosing good mates. Even if faked.

So tired of incel and dudes who don't even lift talking about people just doing it for chicks. That might of been an initial drool factor but it's marginal. In my case I got tired of looking scrawny and weak in comparison to my friends and males in general. Women never impacted my decision largely it was actually other men and havig a lack of presence around them that forced me to want to lift. I can tell you from experience though, women don't like scrawny guys unless they are able to make up for it in structure and height which semi off sets the appearacne of looKing weak. Women like to feel feminine and submissive around men and muscularity along with traits such as body, and facial hair are variables that diffrentiate men from women.

Acquiring a reasonable physique with moderate muscularity and being lean doesn't require copious amounts of lifting and a ton of dedication. Be comitted and results will come. It takes time, but consistency is most important.

Sorry but If you can't spare an 45 minutes a day a few times a week you are coping and lying to yourself.

This generation is full of pathetic weakings who think they need steroids to achieve a moderately muscular physique. Very sad how uneducated people are these days. I used to weigh 125lbs at about 5'9 before I started lifting at 19. I manged to put on 4 inches on my arms naturaly within 3 years of training. Went up to around 160-170. Its usualy the idiots of hop on a substance right away that burn out. Loose desire to lift because they need drugs. It becomes reliance. Very important to build as much as you can natural. Take your body to its limits. Learn to eat and train and if you are serious then comit to dabbling with substance.

When I went on the drugs I managed to get up to about 195 now. I don't take much. .... I rotate between 250-600mg testosterone and some times take orals. At the end of the day hair is way more important. Lifting weights is a lifestyle and long time cpmittment. Those who are truly passionate are life tie lifters and amongst those that lifted for years naturally and have no problem doing so off the drugs. Worst is to become drug reliant... very pathetic and usually the first people to dissappear and feed you wrong advice. Don't believe people who say you need drugs. Its not needed and usually preached by betas.

Anyone can build a decent physique with enough consistency. I was on the extreme spectrum of sh*t tier genes

How do you know what the "standard" poster here looks like? Having 25% body fat is just being fat, over 25% you are even obese. Nobody is arguing about that.

And what's the deal with this hygiene obsession? That's something you do for yourself, for example, taking take of your teeth and gums is paramount, especially if you want to have a nice smile and a nice face when you're older. Lack of teeth damages your facial aesthetics and ages you like hell, not to mention it takes away one of life's pleasures, being able to eat properly.

Been there, and lived the same way op did since I was 16.

A transplant t changed all that at 22.5 years old.

I would tell you to stop being a pusay but I can sympathize considering i was the same way. Do you look like a twink and rely on your hair for being attractive?
Lol forgot I posted this. And nah I have a strong jaw-line and am fairly muscular. I actually think I have a pretty good face to pull of bald; at least better than most. My issue is my skull under my hair is a pretty weird shape, it is pointy and doesn;t feel round at all. I have never even had a buzz cut either. So super worried to get it shaved.

Dude. I know it's tough. But you have to bear with it.

Can you grow a beard? If the answer is yes, then shave immediately and grow a beard.

Do not go for a long hobo beard tho.
Go for a well groomed, medium lenght beard.

Also call that girl. RIGHT NOW.
Dress up nicely, and go out on a date with her with your new shaved head.

Show yourself confident, and see her reaction.
Do not let male pattern bullshit hold you back, have fun and go get that girl!
Nah can't grow any facial hair whatsoever. Also have no body hair. Long line of family history of being unable to grow beards but having great hair on the head. Somewhere probably from generations down I somehow inherited baldness at a young age. Just my luck lol. And nah not ready to date with this right now. Gotta accept myself before I let someone else in my life. And I got plenty of time so not too worried.

What I'm saying is that it isn't a coincidence that the same guys who are very anti-lifting are either scrawny as hell with zero muscle, or overweight with zero muscle. Most of them have probably never sat foot in a gym. If they have they probably tried it for a month at most, got frustrated that there was no instant results, and now claim bodybuilding is a myth/only for the elite genetic lottery winners/has no effect on overall attractiveness. In the end it all boils down to laziness/coping through denial. Being fit greatly increases one's attractiveness, and that's a fact that should not be so easily dismissed on this forum as one of the stupid things people say to people losing their hair by the same aforementioned guys who know nothing about it.

Not having an exercise regimen is equivalent to not brushing your teeth -- arguably worse.

It's also something you do for yourself, and a lack of it will damage your aesthetics like hell, not to mention it will take away many of life's pleasures.

The redeeming feature of all the copers, the lazy bums, the losers, and so on is that it keeps standards low.

Take an average man, who is 5'9, 185 lbs with 30% body fat, weak, have him:
- Eat less than ~2,500 calories/day;
- Average at least 80 grams of protein per day;
- Cut down on added sugars and white bread, white rice, potatoes and increase healthy fats;
- Go to the gym for ~45 minutes at a time, ~3x/week and do things properly;

Will be in the top-10% of the general population within a year, because most people are too lazy to be consistent.

I asked a guy I know recently why he doesn't go the movies more often. He says he can't afford the $$$ it costs with the drinks and the popcorn. Why not go to a movie and *not* eat the drinks and pop corn? That's how lazy most people are.

***********

I have to agree with you on self image. Even if there's nobody else around, it's fun to look in the mirror and see strong and defined shoulders, triceps, forearms, thighs, and calves. It feels good.

Great, just don't do it for women. And I would say having gum disease or no teeth is worse than not going to the gym. No matter how hot you are, if your mouth is a mess, people will not see you in a good light. Being active doesn't imply an exercise regimen from a bodybuilding website. Playing basketball, football, swimming, walking instead of driving also work.

Stop with the non-sequiturs: Nobody said that heavy lifting is the only means of getting fit. It is merely one of the most efficient in terms of results versus time and money put in.

With that said, don't expect great results from walking instead of driving. If driving to work takes 10 minutes and walking takes 45 minutes, you're likely better off using those 35 minutes for something requiring more exertion.
