You conveniently did not answered my question... but I see what you mean, I go to the gym myself (well I used to now I do muay thai) and enjoy it. Being slightly out of shape or bald/balding does not = young+bald+ugly though...

Ok no really ugly is rare, but the image I have in my mind of when you say really ugly is quite an extreme lol. But really fat is seen VERY often, these guys consistency is debatable but there are def some really fat fatties putting in work, or at least attempting to.

Anyways, I just highly doubt Dante is ugly to the extreme most of us are anticipating.

Well where you live they must only allow gorgeous peopl because it's a fair mix where I'm at. TBH I'm not even really paying attention to anyone else, I throw on my headphones and I become one with the weights and my body. Having an insane pump feels like you're about to c*m. I love it.

Like the mayne gi joey has mentioned, excercise isn't about attracting the opposite sex, it does a great number on the self esteem and mental health. Having fitness and diet discipline spills over into other areas of life too.

I've never lifted to attract women I lift for me, I fell in love with it at first rep. Anyone who wants to talk fitness just hit me up mayne. Or about life, srs I've been through some stuff and I know a lot of you bros are down in the dumps. We've all got a common bond here. Keep your heads up.

I lie you not when I tell you I have never seen a fat (really fat) one in my gym and most certainly not among men. My gym is made of a young very shallow population. But that's close to the work so I go there.
I think Dante is ugly as he says and really don't care about gym. He had got hobbies, and it's his choice to cope the way he wants anyway.

My gym is pretty populated though, it's 2 floors and if you go between 3-7pm you'll have 100 or more people there at any given time, maybe my gym just has more people which raises the chances of the fatties coming out haha.

I get he can cope the way he wants, I don't object, was just hoping I could shed
Some insight based off what I seen around me, and I've seen the gym take my friend off a stimulant addiction he suffered for for years, although he Replaced that addiction with a healthy lifestyle, being critical about your micros and macros, although very obsessively is a lot better than sniffing speed every hour or 2. I've seen skinny guys get huge and be confident af, i myself noticed a huge change ever since I started gymming, more drive, more energy, happier and I can last wayyy longer;).

Anytime someone goes through a change in bettering their lifestyle, the outcome is always positive. Unfortunately it's quite clear my advice goes in one ear out of the other due to him completely disconnecting himself to anyone has an inch or more of hair than him.

As all good-looking guys here do. Of course, you just can't believe it and want to satisfy some morbid curiosity. It can't be true in your mind, I must be a depressed loser with BDD, that's the only possible explanation, since you all "made it" with gymcelling and confidence, it means everybody can.

I'm using ur threads pics as reference to why I don't think you're as ugly as you say

It can help, yes. The thing with addiction is that you can only replace them with something else, never really end them. So yes you replace a bad habbit by some considered a good one.

You're right about that, this same kid has bdd to the extent that 5 years ago when he was skinny as a twig he was super paranoid about lines under his eyes to the point where he stuffed his face for 3 months just to get himself fat. People with addictive personalities almost always have to replace their addiction with something else, in this case the gym was the best addiction to replace his priors with.

This discussion was not about going to the gym to attract people. I do agree going to the gym can be really satisfying, I think, mostly for guys, because it's one of the very few areas in life where you can see progress! Personally I do muay thai because I have lot of anger in myself to release and I like this sport.
Even if going to the gym could help Dante feeling better, I don't remind seing him ask for help here nor advises, and it might cost hi more to go there than the advantages he could get from it.
I suppose you're right. I just don't like reading "impossible 4 me to make gainz cuz I'm frail and skinny". It's bs.

But yes he never asked for advice, I guess I'm just the type of person who just wants to help another bro I obviously see struggling. When I was in a bad place I didn't have anyone there for me literally so if I could make some difference for someone I'd love to.

If someone's not willing to listen then I guess I'll just stfu then. Have a goody day guys.

Right, so I'm virgin and have been mercilessly mocked just because I've got BDD. Way better, I imagined everything, hair loss included! I just have to smile and be confident and everything will just be magically fine!

Ask @Xander94 , look where his looks got him lol, virgin basement dweller with no people person skills or any practical life experienc whatsoever.

it's not only about your genetic inferiorities man, although I'm not completely discounting them. But this whole mindset you carry around that this is itnfor you is horrible, and when you're 40 or 45 or 50 you'll wish you had to put in some effort just to see what could've been.

Being a skinny isn't even a problem. If i was just "skinny" i would have a huge motivation to hit the gym because it would fix my only useless problem, but i have many problems that gym could never solve.

Were you able to get a lot bigger when you were natty af? Cause that's what I was referring to lol.
Of course. I put a lot of mass within my years of natural training.
Was no longer a skinny guy after that transformation.

However, it takes a long time.

. Easy to make big talk without being a Norwood 4 ugly virgin.
FWIW, I agree with those two. NW7 ugly virgin talking.

"Potentially"? I've been mocked for my appearance at my workplace while wearing nice suits, in a gym they'd tear me apart.
"They" go to the gym?
Iron humbles people. I doubt the mocking type would last in a (proper) gym.
Also, get out of Italy.

I've been in gyms around the world. Never encountered any mocking.

Gyms are mostly for good-looking people who had decent physique to begin with. This forums proves it, all the gymcelling guys here turned out to be above average and Norwood 2-3 at best.

I have never seen one overweight people at the gym! It's full of Chads and Stacies (except some classes like zumba)

Do you know why? Overweight/frail people, if they stick to gymming, stop being so.
Also, most people, overweight or not, do not have to drive to stick to gymming.

I saw this video a couple days ago and was thinking about posting it here, note how the guy seems to have no noticeable hair loss.

The video was a little bit eye opening to me because the guy reminded me of myself in some aspects (not a virgin though lol); during undergrad and my current graduate studies I find myself not being super social as I was trying my best to make sure I was getting the highest marks so I could secure myself a place in a great graduate program. I wasn't "living" my life to the fullest; going out, trying new things, etc. I feel that during this time I have definitely lost some friends, who mistook my non-socialness as me being an a**h** and/or not wanting to bother with them.
