I have shown my pic to @Pasbrillantebrunette and @David_MPN but both of them think that I look better with NW2 than I did when I was NW1. But that's completely different from the reaction that I get in real life. I get substantially less attention from women than I did from my NW1 days. Women no longer walk up to me in clubs and compliment me on my looks and initiate conversation. Also, pretty much every one who knows me in real life tells me that I do look less attractive. When I look in mirror, I feel substantially less attractive.

from 'what' i saw in pic there was nothing for me to assume he is not at the very least normal looking.
No it's not age. The change in looks was noticeable within months. I remember skyping with my father a year after my hair loss and he commented that my face seems to have changed. I coped by telling myself that it may be skype distorting my face.

LOL, that's what I told my mirror for the longest time..
I think there is a limit to how much pics can portray the reality. But in real life, the change is substantial. Changes in density and hair style can make a huge, huge difference in looks.

There are different ways for a man to be handsome, which will in turn appeal to different women. I have very particular tastes, I prefer women who look feminine, and men who look masculine. For example, this is a man that I would love to look like:

With the look you had before, you plausibly fulfilled a cultured, worldly, pretty boy type of distinctive look that a lot of women would find irresistible. Your looks also need to be in harmony with your personality, which would have been the case. You are worldly, you are smart, speaking to you would thus be confirm the impression that you're a gateway to a more interesting time.

Spot on. I have noticed that you do prefer masculine look in men. Whereas I prefer pretty boy look, which is how I looked. This is also the look that is far more popular among Indians. That's why my relatives thought I look less attractive when I couldn't keep the pretty boy hair any more. The hair style in the second picture was exactly how I styled my hair when it was dry. It maximized my looks. God I miss it.

Yes it's weird.
We have both very handsome and very plain men on this forum. It's a spectrum.
However, all of the women who have been active in my time here, all five of you, are above average.
When I've brought it up before, people suggested those women just end up on heralopecia.

I don't do that in real life however, it's not like I go up to a fat person and tell them to lose weight - OR ELSE! But I would gladly share health advice with them if they asked. I'm pretty shy IRL, it's a different story here, though.
