Re: MrBastard's Story- (22) No finasteride approach! Temple loss/diffuse

definitely seeing some improvement, good luck!
question; what is nisim? i saw you mention it a few times in this thread.
Im in the same boat as you, im 23 and refuse to use finasteride. I used to use saw palmetto but it gave me nasty sides so finasteride is out of the question for me. Everyone says theres no hope if your not using finasteride but id like to test that theory. I too wanna try RU soon but its soo damn expensive

Thanks :)

Nisim is nothing to think about, its a weak remedy that dont work. And RU is not expensive at all, its only a high one time cost 1 - 2 times(?) a year. Seen multiple times on this forum that the cost is 2 - 4$ per day. Dont know if that is included the alcoho, but that should not make a price differene worth mentioning...

Hi Mr. Bastard! Sorry but i'm confused. Can you answer:
-What do you think is responsible for your success?
-What is your current regemin? Trying to simplisize this thread.
Thanks again!

Re: MrBastard's Story- (22) No finasteride approach! Temple loss/diffuse

minoxidil is probably the main reason for my regrowth, but dont think id get much without the other stuff i do aswell. It only adds some minutes every apply so i keep my regimen.
I do first apply 6ish am and seond apply 6ish pm. That way its 12 hours between every apply and my pm apply can dry on my scalp so as little as possible gets on my pillow when i sleep

Currently it have been:
- minoxidil + spironolactone temples morning
- minoxidil night
- spironolactone and folligen for blondes + emu oil altering every night. Applyed 10ish min after minoxidil
- Weekend special is spironolactone all over the scalp instead of only temples morning and the rest as usual at pm applying.

Stuff like keto/PO shampoo and msm + c vit is supplements and i guess it have done no to very small changes. I also do an occationally ret-a. Dont know if i will reorder a new bottle of that

Thanks, what brand of minoxidil you using? Any facial bloating or forehead wrinkles at all?

Minoxidil.com
No facial bloating or forehead wrinkles as i noticed. If anything more faial hair wich is desireable for me. Amazing how fast my beard have started to grow after adding msm aswell. Got nearly a 2 days beard now and the hairs are tipping above 1mm in lenght already. Measured them now. It used to take me 5 - 7 days to get that lenght before. Aging might have something to do with it too thogh.

Re: MrBastard's Story- (22) No finasteride approach! Temple loss/diffuse

Not much to update here. My worse temple have improved a bit, my best temple seem to have shedded a bit. Still above baseline :)
The last month i have changed my routine a bit by going to only nighttime minoxidil (1.5 - 1.8ml) and use spironolactone all over at morning. When i do that my hair look perfectly normal the whole day exept for the part that i am balding. Minoxidil seemed to make my hair look a tiny bit greasy and scratching my head was nono. Now i dont even itch at all on the head...

I started to lurk a bit on folligen.com forum and folligen for blondes seems to be best at creating thicker healtier hairs and dont have any skin remodelling, while folligen with copper peptides gets a higer haircount ( Claimed a bit over minoxidil 2% in theyr own studies ) and have skin remodelling.

So with that in mind i will start with this regimen somewhere in 2011:

- 5% spironolactone all over morning.
- 1ml 5% Minoxidil, wait 10 - 20 min then folligen spray(1ml?), then 11 drops emu oil EOD.
- 1ml 5% Minoxidil + 0,025% ret-a, wait 10 - 20 min, then folligen for blondes EOD.
- Up my 2% keto usage 1 month in this as my skin should handle it then to EOD. It have only been 3rd day ish now no problem. Altering with PO shampoo with an occationally something else.

Will continue with my MSM + c-vit. Will stop with xandrox wich i am almost out of. Will buy a digital camera to show you how good my bad temple really have improved! It is better than what my crappy phone camera can show

Re: MrBastard's Story- (22) No finasteride approach! Temple loss/diffuse

Ordered some stuff today :)

Folligen spray, b-komplex tablets and multivitamin tablets. Also tryed to order a camera but the only site who had both the camera and an ipod touch did not have em in stock so will have to order later.

Will alter folligen spray and folligen for blondes EOD. 1 multivit tablet with breakfast and MSM each morning. 1 b-komplex with MSM and food after work.

Oh, and also ordered Miconazol nitrat 2%! :) Will use in temples once a day before minoxidil to test if it works. Lots of vellus hairs i got, terminals its fewer at... I consider myself still a lot above baseline on haircounts. If they jut did go terminal now...

2011's first and only update with a phone camera!

Re: MrBastard's Story- (22) No finasteride approach! Temple loss/diffuse

Cant say i know mucha bout gyno since i never tryed a finasteride pill myself so i suggest you to start a new thread where you ask around that.

As of the topicals i hear revivogen have been potent enough for some people to hold on theyr finasteride results. It is apparantly very smelly and greasy though. And you got the RU58841 you got to order from fishy chineese companies you can mix in your minoxidil and use once a day. It is the most potent one known today. Else you got the weaker ones like spironolactone/copper peptides and such
