Yeah I think you’re right. I’ve been saying it for like a year and still haven’t. I really wanna hear from people that have used finasteride and switched to see if they’ve had side effects.

How bad does your hair look in a strong parting?

Well here are screen shots of a vid of me messing with my hair to show how thing it is on the right side it’s hard to maintain a strong part because that side of my hair is very weak and light. I’m just not sure if it’s gotten significantly worse over the last year or not and it’s killing me.

It's really not that bad dude, you just have thin hair. Like alot of white people.

Thanks though, I definitely have some major BDD so hearing that it doesn’t look as bad as I think it does really helps. To be completely honest, I’m comparing my hair to prince William’s hair when he was thinning.

I also used to have extremely thick hair, it's now thin. But I also realise that just like you, I still have enough hair to not be considered balding. Which it's all about imo.

Zero sides. I had prior gyno and it may have gotten slightly larger, but I’ve also gained about 20 pounds since starting finasteride so it could be attributed to that.

Sides are a lot less common than people think. The problem comes from a vocal minority vs a mostly quiet majority. People without sides don't tend to make posts about not having sides while people with sides make multiple posts.

Sides are a real thing, but it isn't anywhere near what the fear mongers make it out to be.

I had brain fog my first few weeks, but I'm coming up on 4 years with no other side. No gyno, no weight gain, no skin issues, no impact on sexual health.
Oral minoxidil gave me a puffy eye which cleared up, topical gave me a rash on my scalp which didn't go away until I swapped to oral.

Yea, I had a thread I was updating regularly for a few months. Problem was that I had decent enough regrowth with my meds, supplements, and microneedling that I was able to get 100% of my desired look with just a bit of dermmatch and found myself on here less. Then with work schedule ramping up I've been having to wear dermmatch basically 24/7 and have been just maintaining with meds and supplements and haven't micrneedled in about 2 months.

I just swapped back to having 3 day weekends so I'll be doing microneedling weekly again and will restart posting updates.

I’m in the same boat as you bro. Feels thinner but looks almost the same in photos. Little recession but nothing crazy.

Only thing different for me is I shed 200 hairs a day.

Have you tried to add Dutasteride twice a week along with your finasteride? If you see an improvement then it could be a sign that dutasteride works better for you and from there you can slowly shift to dutasteride.

Nah I haven’t. I may add dutasteride down the line if I notice some significant loss

I know, but usually at an older age. Regardless, she has an exceptionally thick head of hair.
